You can never be cautious enough with models like this, especially playing against random people. Personally I'd suggest something like this. For example one of my friends tend to move buildings around the table. I'm honestly not sure how is he doing that as no matter how big is the terrain piece, he always finds a way to move it in the heat of battle. So as you can can see, placing a miniature in the corner is not as safe as it might sound ;)
of course its never nice if stuff breaks but c'mon guys...its just a miniature. with a painting pensum of 40+ miniatures per year we can afford to repaint one :)
That freehand is jawdropping. And even more, knowing the scale of the model very well. My only complaint would be the missing critter, but thats just because of my avatar. I think it would distract from the freehand in your case.
That is the nearest feeling to scratch your own car in a public parking. Men's tears allowed in both cases.
So I finally finished my table 90% and here are the candid shots. Now I can go back to painting miniatures.
Really like the result, been thinking of something like it myself. Might have been said but did you use a laser cutter to make the floor/sidewalk for the houses?
u nice Dragon lady :) the hell is piglet ? ok the only thing i may pick on is a composicion on the parasoul you made a 3/3 divide and put 1/3 completly full , another 1/3 mostly used and last part empty unbalancing the rest - a seting sunn or fading one on the horizont in this part would put this nice in balance - a bit of clouds wher the swallows are would help to :) any way amazing job :) at last somebody made a something similar to my works on this one :)
finally got around to painting my New Tunguska Scheme on a Securitate. It was very helpful to get some feedback from LeFrank choosing the color scheme.
Loved playing on this, looking forward to try out the other some day [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks guys! @Usashi well mattock was my facourite rifle in ME3 so you are quite right :D Finished Candy today, she will be my Tunguska HVT.
I must have missed something (or my critical and yet uncorrected lack of coffee is doing it's thing, also possible), in which box does this Candy mini come from?
Any chance you and @lefrank could share how you go about picking colors and in what proportions? Do you use the dosdiers for digital mockups?
