mine have LED but they are not used...with batteries they would be too heavy. i think its important to get some that are comfy...i just invested a few euros (17 to je exact! )..might get something better in the future
It takes me almost exactly the same time. It takes longer the bigger the mini is, of course. But recently I painted as S2-Mini so detailed, it took almost 20 hours.
glad I can give something back! yes the 15 hours was the crane agent. 8 hours is for celestial guard. i think the su jian will take me 20+. There is always the option to go back and touch up on the minis...but for gaming miniatures I think always it will not be visible anyway. I did some showcase miniatures in the past, there of course I wanted everything perfect. I know its not Infinity but some people might be interested in how I progressed so much from Infinity I painted in 2012 and then my best Showcase pieces in 2014. please visit my gallery on putty and paint: http://www.puttyandpaint.com/Nathelis
Awesome painting, dude! Any tips on how to tackle the bow string? Please, keep the good stuff coming.
Miss Kanren is finished. I have not been lazy, I am just outdoor climbing a lot now in the nice weather and also there is a whole Infinity table that I am painting :D
And i though, building your own table is a valid excuse, because every player is building one...or planning one...or fantasizing about building one... @Nathelis Awesome minis here.
Well its just a fast smartphone photo what is finished so far...Its more like half a table thats why I have not yet published any photos. Building MDF just takes too long time...I have help from 2 friends so we can manage it maybe to finish it along 2 more paint/build days.
The hair is really cool, and i like the way the weapon is done. And the eyes. I tried it two or three times so far but cilud not manage anything similar.
Wow! Really great work! Now I like to paint my Miss Kanren immediately. But wait, there is a long line of waiting projects with that Anaconda, Scarface, Emily, the Brawler Engineer, some Keisotsus, as well as the Szalamandra, the Taskmaster, the Morlocks ... damn ...
Amazing, I love how you paint the black. I think that is one of the most dificult colors I'm going to make note about how to paint faces :writing_hand:
Appreciate the walkthrough for faces - I'll try it myself now! Lovely work, the transitions on the Kanran hair is very striking and smooth, I like it a lot! :)
