Yeah the Duo was too good to be true. Because Hulang and Krit had a very good synergy and the SD. You had already included your engineer and CC guy (not the best). Still vulnerable vs comms attacks. A duo of two Hulang still gains the SD but its to much CC specialist in one basket - if I play two Hulang, I better set them apart.

But yes over all IA is in an good shape and fun to play as is WB and now it look like we got some new toys for ISS.

It’s disappointing they lost it…. I loved the duo in N4 so will probably still run it. Like you say very efficient specialist team…. With all the deployables!

    do miss the nades though.

I'm actually starting to think the Hulang are not bad. Since they gained the E/Mitter on the SMG profile. I'm loving the E/Mitter in IS with Miranda. They both have the E/Mitter and Mim -6. She has Marksmanship but the Hulang has the armor, koalas or Discoball. They can E/M a TAG or HI and then berserk into them with their Mono! Miranda can get a cheap ABH to duo with but two hulangs might not be bad. Or Hulang and Krit who also has an E/Mitter!

If you go two Hulangs, would you go with different profiles or the same? I haven't had a chance to try but on paper it always seems like I'm over committing. With Hulang and Krit you'd at least get more utility.

I would go for different loadouts. 1) I have both, 2) you cover 3 different rangebands and 3) you have different deployabels

But - If I use both FD Hulangs, I prefere to place them on different flanks. When you buy Krit on top it eats up too much points.

So I consider to try the Hulang/Krit Dou without SD.

I am disappointed that Krit and Hulang can't get SD - it was an interesting duo, not a dominating one. On the other hand, the Forward fireteam changes also means that the Forward Deploying Hulangs are Wildcards, meaning if you don't need the Discoball you could stick the koala minelayer profile into a Zuyong Haris

I've found the E/Mitter is a great ARO piece. It has great range bands and can stop most things in it's tracks if not kill. But that's what other troops are for. In IS I find there's to much non-lethal. Sure I can stop them but in a missions that needs kills, it kinda sucks. But IA doesn't have that problem as much. Since the FTO is a wildcard, I might put him in a Zhanshi team. I'd have to try it out.
