    I got to see last week how effective Miranda can be with her E/Mitter. It wasn’t IS, but Tunguska. I was actually playing my vO-12. My opponent just used her as an ARO piece, and she was hell to deal with. I tried shooting her with a silver star HMG but just couldn’t hit and was lucky with some BTS saves. But if she was this effective on her own, image her with a single 12pt SMG ABH with her! I gave up on the HMG and started to use my Jackboot E/Mitter because he has warhorse but still I couldn’t hit her. Eventually near the end of the second turn I was able to hit her with my HMG. So now I’m going to be trying to get her into my IS lists!

    After you have played with her enough to get your opponents used to you having her you can swap her to Sfoza masked as Miranda.

    LOL great idea!

    Could also be done with Tao Wu on his own. Sforza costs almost as much as Miranda :(

    And then both just kind of die easier to the same shit that kills Miranda, anyway.

    FD Sforza is fun though.

    It is worth noting, that with ISS being absolutely oversaturated with EM and Adhesive solutions, and the nerfing of Speedball to require someone to apply the kit, ISS has a strong as hell mobility-kill game going on.

    N5 ISS has very strong no-sell functionality:

    Smoke shooting? MSV2 albedo on the bao.

    MSV or marksman overwatch? Albedo and disco ballers on units we don’t mind taking.

    Stealth? Cranes and Zhanying ignore it. CG teams are one of the few easy pure cores to take on purpose this edition.

    Mobile attackers, especially TAGs and flyers? Linked E/M and glue, E/M mines, depreps, pitchers, etc. et al.

    Camo/HD? Sensor everywhere.

    Impersonator? Bio visors, CoC, lots of DZ defenses.

    Hacking? Tinbots, Zhanying zero pain, Cranes ignore surprise mods.

    Viral? Key gunfighting and ARO pieces have STR or are probably shock immune.

    ISS is just very “none of your shenanigans now, surrender quietly or come at me bro” at this point. I find them a little rough playing into Morats specifically bc of all the Warhorse as it makes the E/M much less effective, but generally ISS feels more versatile and effective than ever. I’m developing the opinion that they benefit from thinking about matchups when listbuilding since you can’t put every counter in the same list without sacrificing offensive power.
