Hi there, We are just discussing how EM CCW Work in N4. As a JSA player this is important to me, since I got a bunch of them. In N4 I understand that EM CCW is combining the effects of Normal and EM Ammunition. As the Weapon-Profile states Saves are Roled using BTS. So when I read the Effect of Normal Ammo: causes 1 Wound/loss of Structure per failed Saving Roll And EM Ammo: causes 2 Saves against halfed BTS. Causes ISO Stated (TAG HI REM IMM) Combining them to me would cause this: For each Hit with an EM CCW the Target has to make 2 Saving rolls with halfed BTS. Each failed Saving roll results in 1 Wound/loss of structure and causing the ISO (IMM) State. Critical Hits add one additional Saving roll. Am I reading this correct?
There's a thread that goes into more detail in the JSA forum, but in short yep this is how it works. E/M CCW is essentially a AP+DA weapon that targets BTS and has the added effect of possibly isolating/immobilizing.
