also DBS has scarface linkable :P i know the whole point of DBS is to play druze but they really need more druze society units and/or way more exclusive loadouts than just a MSR to their shock troops units also another idea would to include reasonable cost reductions to represent having a closer link to their logistics as their not hired help to another force but that doesn't exactly address the core issue lack of choice.
This, I don't mind if they're not the best options. I'd just like more options that are druze/make the druze sectorial unique.
I always thought it was obvious that they should be allowed to take Knauf, except it's not Knauf obviously it's Jethro.
May I draw your attention to the conspicuous lack of a Druze MSR model? That's where Jethro fits in, he's the official designated proxy.
Yeah I know that's what it's supposed to be but given Jethro is supposed to be just as lethal as Knauf it'd make more sense to just be able to take "not Knauf" rather than a downgrade in the form of a Druze.
Spoiler: Jethro and Outrage spoilers i love to see Jethro back in druze roster but unless in the 5 year gap arsland finally got his revenge on knauf and ripped his mentor's cube necklace from knauf's neck there little chance of him coming back. here's outrage's profiles for knauf and jethro, even in the tabletop story component they weren't exactly identical
Just started dipping back into Druze in N4, and I'm REALLY impressed by them as an army before. I liked them just fine in N3 and did well with them, but the changes to the N4 list are pretty huge. Wildcard ABH are worth their weight in gold to bring link costs down, their repeater coverage is ace, though I still lament the loss of my second Peacemaker. Wolfgang is just a monster, and now Fiddler?! Hell yes.
You never had a second Peacemaker. They were AVA1 in N3, check your copy of Uprising. N4 added Bulleteers to the Druze stable of REMs.
Huh, well I stand corrected then. I assume it was an unintended bug given what their book printed with. Our local DBS player picked it up after Uprising so I assume it was changed before then.
DBS predated Uprising be a number of months, I don't have the original PDF but it might have been something that changed between the initial release and Uprising.
Yup. They came out the December before Uprising. Their initial release had 2 Peacemakers, which I scooped up right away, and I immediately took them to take 3rd place the following February at Las Vegas Open, lol. The original PDF is here, where they're listed as AVA1, but the answer on the forums was to follow what Army said (AVA 2) and the PDF was a mistake. That was later changed to Army being incorrect and the PDF being right all along. https://assets.infinitythegame.net/...es/en/v1.0/druze_bayram_security_profiles.pdf There is an even earlier list which came out just before the official one for Outrage that I absolutely wanted to play, but I was hesitant to start an army that wasn't ITS official, so I held off: https://assets.infinitythegame.net/...issions/en/v1.0/infinity_outrage_missions.pdf I really like Druze...
No HI in Druze. Al Fasid could fill this gap. A little cheaper than the TAGs and another blunt HMG option, but inculde smoke and a mine :-) Maybe add Odas, don´t know if they fit fluffwise.
I've thought about HI in Druze a many times, I don't think it's necessary, but it would be cool. Al Fasid seem to be the mercenary big guys, who show up in Ikari and Dahshat, so they'd probably be the least disruptive. Azra'il would be a bit more unique, but might step on QKs toes too much. Looking outside of Haqq may not be bad either, something like a Ratnik or Boyg would be a neat twist.
Ratnik would be cool. I think they need to make a "Brawler-like" HI for all NA2. Only in that, it's something that can be in most NA2 forces. Though I still think Vet Kazak are the most Druze-like.
