@dhellfox Your Aleph has certainly come a long way from plain metal to layers of paint. How are you enjoying the other side of the technological spectrum compared to the low-tech end of Ariadna?
@Golem2God , unfortunately the only time i can get someone to play against (see off topic english topic) is during tournaments and thanks to covid 0 has been run at my local store all year. i ran it one event but i was confused on the model obstruction rule so i built a strat around using a ruda as a riot shield as i advanced a yuda/ asra harris up the board.
Well I hope you get to use them more often and get some tactical feedback. I'll look forward to when the whole lot is painted. Also if you haven't seen the new video Corvus Belli posted on youtube, basically CB is discontinuing the whole Steel Phalanx line. So if you like or want the older sculpts now would be the time to grab them. At least Bostria mentioned that this is for the upcoming resculpts of the sectorial. But who knows when those new models will drop from now? Possibly a couple of years down the road. Some of the newer Caledonian sculpts are also being discontinued such as the Starter, Volunteers and some of their older sculpts. Check and see if you want to get of them before they are gone as well.
yeah ive was posting the discontinued list minutes after the video was live hehe. as mentioned before i already bought out the entire or close to the entire aleph catalog

havn't done the finer details on her wrist and rifle (the original barrel broke again so i borrowed one from my spare knuf). also ran out of black pain to repaint the bases
start of this month i decided to paint my thorakitai, like acon they have their own TF fox color scheme to distinguish them from the core myrimdons. looking at the pics i noticed some spots i need to fix XD normally i would paint the chaingun mostly a steel to reflet their cheap simple construction but since this was aleph i felt like painting it to be a bit higher tech
well here's the core of the SP done and achillies lo... i mean best friend and bodyguard. all in taskforce fox colors. unfortunaly they were some of my original glue batch when i got back into infinity so..... yeah it got out of hand and (glue) smudged some areas (notably faces and inside the shogun).
well this one i started back soon after my last post, experimenting with a cheaper non GW primer. when the tournaments got canceled with the second set of lock downs, i lost most interest in paining. currently its 80% done (still got hands, guns and face to finish along with lights). the mouth is inspired by the CB artwork and the mass production evas from end of evangelion [https://www.deviantart.com/doneplay/art/Mass-Production-Evangelion-417869718]. the photos don't do justice how unnerving that smile is when you look at on table.
