Damn, completely forgot about this, thanks for the recall.

    I said nothing then!

Actually yes, this is a massive fucking problem I have with him. Every time I have him as an ARO piece, he isn't really likely to win the FtF all that much but he will doggedly tank most shots coming his way, HOWEVER, it is utterly infuriating watch him cowardly crawl back into hiding, when I'm paying top dollars to have him as an ARO piece, especially when it's like the first order the enemy uses to shoot at him.

I would have much less issue with this, if it weren't for the fact that Command Tokens aren't allowed to be spent during Reactive Turn, which excludes the possibility for you to force your units to pass their Guts Roll.

And, I think, a bit of a trap. You are setting yourself up with the Neurocinentic. In Active turn you're shooting 1 vs. 1 or 2 burst back at you. In ARO shooting 2 vs. 1-5! How is this a good thing?

Yup, I've definitely overhyped the thing. He is clearly not worth it for the price, I've never used him with the neuro before, and I probably never will...
I'm not that much experienced as a player, waaaay behind the majority here, so thanks for the clarification, althought it seems like an evidence now :/

Would it be wrong to also mention the Su-Jian in this context? It's quite a bit more mobile and flexible than Mowang and Yan Huo but technically still an S5 HI beatstick.

Honestly, it's usually the other way around. I rarely even think about the Mowang when the Su-Jian is available as an option.

Even in Generic YJ Mowang poses a new type of Super HI. Su Jian's super good no doubt, but is vulnerable to close range combat.

Mowang got mimetism on 562 beefcake. Thats huge! Who won't like it? It makes him dirty roadblock with good sidearms, while Suji functions as broken mobile attacker.

Glad we got both, since there are more cards to pull out - I love playing Mowang on conquering missions, pop out a SF mode in cover, and see your opponent struggle against pure -9 mods.

I still prefer su jian. In conquest missions you just park him on a rooftop in safety.

That depends on your table. My meta features a great variety in terrain including forest tables and station corridor tables. Neither have elevation that would allow the Su Jian to hide.

I think this list would be sorta fun.

I tried to make something a bit different, the idea is to have many attack vectors. Not as good ARO as I normally have but at least the Yan Huo can shoot DA, and the TR bot is there, (Ideally marksmanshipped)

I don't run the Lu Duan or Yan Hou much lately, and rule of cool is the most valid rule haha.

You could always drop a Yaozao in order to give the Zencha a boarding shotgun. That would allow you to run some Naga minelayer style antics in order to absolutely fuck up their link.

Neither of the Zhencha shotgun profiles get mines, unfortunately.
