    Hi all,

during my active turn I want my WB to get into CC with an enemy trooper (so they are both in Engaged state). I cannot reach it within my first short movement skill but could with the second.
I assume it is correct that regardless where I finish my movement the opponent could dodge away with a simple unopposed dodge?
Is it correct that I need my opponent to fail the dodge roll entirely by forcing it to be face to face?
Can I declare dodge myself (=Engage?) to make it face to face? Is there a smarter choice? Was playing McMurrough but Berserk was no option because no line of sight without the short move.

    Thanks for your input

You are correct, and it would not be a F2F if you both Dodged because the troopers are not affecting each other. Generally you want to be moving into contact the same order you Attack with a Move+CC Attack.

This is where Stealth is a useful rule as it lets you get close enough to Move+CC Attack without provoking Dodges, McMurrough has to rely on being faster and tankier to get into combat, or you can also use his pistol or grenades to make the Dodge into a F2F.
