Some serious eyecandy. Don't drop the quality, just keep those gorgeous miniatures coming.

I'd love to see some group shots of your Nomads and TAK forces.

And those bases! So gorgeous. It always hurts a little bit to see all these amazing paintjobs and realize how far away one still is, yet at the same time it's such a pleasure to get to see them. Really impressive!

Thank you, I appreciate it. Basing is essential for me, It's a big part of the mini and can tell a great story.

Multi model profiles are gonna be OP in N4 :grinning: so Puppetactica is ready to deploy.
Made some minor conversion and I played a bit more with various colors.

I just looked at your thread again and didn't realize it had already blown my mind in July  Completely forgot how ridiculously amazing your blends are. That you do it all without an airbrush is even harder to wrap my head around.

The Zondbot, the Puppetactica and the Streloks are amazing too (as always).

One question I haven't asked yet: Do you have any memory of how long your Szally took you?

    Also, I second this.

    Thank you, mate!

Sally is special for me, cause she's my favourite Infinity model and was a painting competition project, so I really put my best to paint her.
I can't tell you for sure but I would say 40h to 50h.

Regarding blends...it takes time and thin paints, that's my experience unless you're some kind of painting prodigy that can do it faster.

@maru Man your compliments are simply the best :ok_hand:

@Modock Simply fantastic! I wanna say "as always" but somehow this one looks even more impressive than usual. What did you use for that base?

    Thanks, Burlesford!

Just regular cork for the stones. I mixed like 4, 5 different flocks (Gale Force 9) for the grass and at the center of the base are various tufts from Army Painter, that's it.

Thanks! You know, your answer made me take a closer look at your base, and while scrolling through the pictures again, I did notice something that almost looks like... *gasp* ...a mistake!

It looks weirdly low-contrast compared to all the other parts and it's also not clearly separated from the pants.

It's nitpicking at the highest level for sure! But since you seem to be much more of a perfectionist than me anyway, I thought I'd simply ask what's up with that ;)

I usually go back and forth with painting to fix or change tones if needed. I started painting the legs first and I remember I wasn't totally happy with the colors used
so I changed the recipe and at the same time I moved to chest area. It looks like I forgot go back and finish that leg. "Brownlining" is also missing between the pants
    and the calf....

The thing with fantasy beast monsters is if they have to look teal they have to work on anathomical lvl
in this case we got a below 5% body fat mass monster - it is possible for humans but at huge cost of health in case of this part of muscules - with good separation they actualy get angular and flat surfaces [IMG]
and they catch light like flat surface - and this is not even a low fat example
so at same time it is a n error or just you miss a spot in a place nobody will look - or intencionaly a flat colour for a flat surface (all tho ther would be a shadow and reflected light from green pants casting a greenish hue shadow on this area ;) )
