Well, saying you only have Paramedics for healing isn't THAT bad, since, ya know, almost your entire list has at least PH13, so at a generally worst case scenario you have a 50/50 chance of passing the PH test to get healed. Not as good as a Doctor, but it works, I suppose?
When they added command tokens, 15+ orders got more desirable. After the command tokens change (and now third off.) You either get pushed to 10 or 15+ orders lol. 11 or 12 orders is the hard one to swallow.
You might be better swapping the santiago lt to the big link, swapping teuton haris for hospitaller doctor haris, then wappinh teuton spitfire for hospitaller hmg. Giving you some burts 5 hmg to shoot out of your deploymentzone
So much change in MO and there is still glaring and big problem for MO to solve: how the heck to leave own DZ... (though at least this KotHS FD2 Spitfire helps a little)
At least we got the Hospitaller HMG haris which is really good as well. Oh and HMG Seraph! Multi-Sniper OS in a link is also a decent option. MO still suffer from having way too many spitfires. And overcost weapon, often times you'd rather take a cheaper (SWC wise) red fury.

(0 | 8) 4 SWC | 299 Points Open in Infinity Army KotHS appeared as a Father Engineer, and allowed me to run Joan across the board, grab two civilians and come back, relatively unopposed (he mistakenly didn't put out anywhere near enough AROs). I used Dart and the Black Friar to mine up two of my civies, whilst the other two were covered by Joan and the Santiago, along with a wall of flash pulses. The order sergeant link team didn't really come into its own sadly, as an ARO team they were frankly pants due to the saturation zone, and I had enough heavy hitters elsewhere to not need to advance them. The prospect of lobbing Dropbears with the Link team bonus is very exciting though. Again, a list where I didn't feel any need to take TO Order Sergeants... I feel very unusual. Overall, a list I really enjoyed. Using Joan super aggressively and knowing you are relatively safe is such a great feeling. I fear that the CoC KotHS is going to become a bit of a crutch for me... People's thoughts on the list as always are much welcomed, as it really wasn't perfect! I really need to learn how to use mines properly...
Building a better list. Tools are there: MO got a Tikbalang and a Seraph with HMG, use them. There're linkable OS with heavy rocket launchers, linkable Father Knights with missile launcher, TO snipers, … the army has enough long range weapons and options to leave the DZ. If people build lists with full knights wielding spitfires then no wonder. OS links are a thing, and now with mixed links far much better. The army can already pack a lot of knights. It won't be a problem if people try to rely less on the full knights utopia and play more OS and TAGs with knights. Average 3 - 5 knights vs the 8 - 10 people try to fit is not a bad thing in order to gain more tools in your list. That's not different how IA works. The more HIs you want to fit in the list the more barebones it becomes. Most flexible IA lists only pack 5 -6 HI at most.
Once again, I find myself in the odd position of agreeing with Janzerker on something. :P Order Sergeants are a big strength of MO. Don't forget the option to include auxbots in your list, IA players wish they had Auxbots.

I ran some tests and linked Father-Knight ML is surprisingly effective at killing long range ARO troops, like linked snipers or even TR bots. It still struggles against linked Kamau sniper, but let's be honest, everyone does. Long story short, linkability was exactly what that unit needed. If a B5 BS17 spitfire can't get you out of your DZ, maybe the B5 BS14 HMG will. It's okay you got ARM 4/5 on those dudes so they'll probably sink a failed attack just fine. But if it doesn't work, maybe the TOOSFO can help. He starts like 16 inches from any of their stuff with mines and stuff. Nah. Use your linked Albedo Black Friar to force a normal roll ARO with his Visor troops instead. White Noise/ anti-visor zones not withstanding, you'll hit ANY TARGET IN THE GAME on 10s at HMG ranges with B4 on shock or AP ammo. This will be a normal roll unless they dodge, or you may lose an OS, or an HI may take ahit. Don't worry, it's probably under 32" because that trooper has FD1. (seriously BF and FK in OS link is probably the best addition to MO.) and with Shock/AP, Your odds are pretty damn good unless they have a Marut or Charontid or something... In which case, you can probably just use your KHD Santiago to walk past them. If that doesn't do the trick, maybe your BS15 HRL FOR FIFTEEN POINTS can wipe something out. Didn't make it out on turn one, or don't think you can? Don't sweat it! just toss drop bears and lay landmines. Had to use your LT order? don't sweat it, KOTHS has CoC. I listed like 7 facepunch awesome things. 6 of them will fit in a single list, guys. MO is probably that absolute best non-min-max faction that i've bothered to spend time thinking about. Edit: for reference, I'm talking about MO's new ability to still have five of the best HI in the game for low Frenzy-discount costs, but you now a: still get link bonuses, but b: don't have to put them in the same spot. This is insanely good. You also don't have to forego any of the other tricks like you used to to take 5 of the good HI (read: not cheapo magisters). In fact, you now get even more tricks than before.
We also have the Holy Sepulchre Knights with forward deployment n2 and Spitfire. Save him as your last miniature for deployment. If you go first put him where he can use his spitfire + surprise shot to take down an ARO piece and open a section of the board for you. If you go second, use his holoechos to hide him. Put the 3 markers in different rooftops/hidden areas and let the opponent decide if he wants to use several orders hunting him or not. You can cover him with a peacemaker or some ARO troop so he will survive.
Even better, cover him with a hidden OS sniper so if he is discovered, the opponent is in for a nasty surprise. AROs are at their best when you overlap them.
magister missile launcher is a bs 12 base weapon that will be burst two in active against a linked missile launcher that will either be bs 12 or 13 base. 50 /50 or worse odds is not a good way to leave deployment. hospitaller in a 5 man link got more expensive arbitrarily, however it does remain our best option for leaving the deployment zone TO msr surprise shot is likely to be another 50/50 exchange against linked teams, as a TR bot is not really the type of unit that shuts down a lane by itself crusader brethren is again a really poor choice for combating linked aros, and doesnt even have the flexibility to absorb a wound in a failed exchange. order sgt msr is a bad choice to face linked MSL and MSR Dart, is again facing the same problem as the other low burst single wound answers. Tikbalang and seraph are both decent choices.
That's why you take various options and attack with those best suited for the occasion. ML F-K in OS link should be awesome at taking down many threats, and can simply outrange many of them. It has high native BS, and is tough enough to withstand a hit. OS MSR should be quite useful in aggressive HI link; use MSR's range and link bonuses to take down aro unit, reform the link with someone else as the 5th trooper, advance leaving sniper on ARO duty. Camo units shouldn't be used against fireteams, unless you can get up close to take advantage of enemy -3 range. They are also good against TR bots. TO MSR is not an offensive unit. It's there to surprise stack AROs or catch enemy from the flank. Crusader Brethren is perfectly fine at taking links, especially if you can maneuver to take advantage of ranges. Spitfire is especially good here, Burst 4 at BS 13 is quite a good combination.

Crusader and peacemaker for harassment, Evo to buff both of them and Joan because Joan. Pretty straight forward and not really designed with any specific mission in mind.
I like the new options we get but for me main issue is further limitation of LT options. Taking a knight is quite a commitment, pointwise and designwise. If you take 34-43 pts model ,you expets more of it than being a cheerlider , so you will probobly invest more to get him some link which would define whole roster. Santiago is most versitile but also most expensive , so he rises OS link cost signifficantly. Whats more OS links is perfect devensive platform so agressive spitfire is not neccesery what you would like to have there. Joan is even more points sink, with more limited link options . He would also work the best alone amongs other options but tempts to invest into CoC. So we got nice new tools but chains of non direct limitations affects them too much imo. No LT options for seraph and OS , while losing fusilier is a biggest dissapontment for me.
