You can be fired if you don't go to work 9 days in 2 months because the (State in many cases) doctor says you are ill (Employment Law 52.d, ratified recently by Constitutional Court), but grave illness is not a valid reason for firing (hah!). At least no lead used in the process... OTOH, maybe it would match the madness more. Temp workers are rotated constantly, self employment is in the spotlight because too many cases looking like normal not self, and so on and so forth... it's more a thing of knowing the tricks and having deep pockets for the lawyers.
