@inane.imp I can see Tony calling Uja Uruk. Wether it is a nickname or just a slight against the Morat time will tell.
I'm not sure myself. I don't think that the name was even mentioned yet unless I'm missing something important. Just go with whatever name you can think of and you can always edit the name later.
I don't need to use it yet. It's mainly an option for someone else to name it before I call it "ship ship" in two different languages. ;P
It's interesting. The questions Uja is asking are about one thing (Tony's lover's death and subsequent fall out: "how Tony got to this shithole") but the context is hitting a separate issue (Tony's experience in the Acheron blockade). They're different events: so the actual answer is that Tony is running from something and entirely separately his past haunts him. :) Looking forward to Alistair's response. He's got to be getting a significant headache by now AND has to face that at the same time as the come down of returning to Dogface form.
That sounds terrible. Can you give any details on how Tony's love died? Are Shas any way involved in that event?
You'll have to ask our GM that. To the best of my knowledge he's not around Ariadna or has anything to do with the Minotaurs. Edit: for clarity when I say mobster I mean lawyer. Personally I don't think there's a distinction once you apply the adjective "Tunguskan" Tony's background if you want to read it: https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/second-pbp-game.3236/page-10#post-83324
@inane.imp Thank you for Tony's background. Maybe Steve will surprise us in the future but I think the Shas will take more precedence over a Tunguskan Lawyer.
Alistair will probably go full Ariadnan and apply Teseum to the issue... I kind of waited for @Danger Rose post.
We could probably stand a good bollocking and drop the issue. We'll be fine. It'll just take Tony longer to warm up to Uja now.
Good Roleplay from anyone involved. . . Tony's attitude towards Planet Dawn is perfectly comprehensible as a Nomad of Corregidor (the most "artificial" of the Motherships, with the most greenery as Algae Tanks and Family Unit Micro-Orchards, while Tunguska is supposed to have big Corporate Parks and Bakunin whole Modules recreating planetary ecosystems !!). . . Ugarat, the Morat homeworld, is instead supposed to be quite wild and untamed, with most of the inhabitated areas being clusters of Fortified Compounds, Military Bases and Barrack-like Villages, so there are A LOT of similitudes between Ariadnan Country and the "Planet Of The Apes". . . Alistair reaction is even tamer than I expected, but as a Veteran of Paradiso and former O12 Security he is surely inured to the typical attitude of People abroad from the Human Sphere that Dawn is an hellhole worse than Human's Edge and worthy only for the Teseum. . .
Precisely. Alistair is used to being called Atek, barbarian and is well aware of how snotty rest of the sphere can get. So he is so far warning rest, and trying to stay professional about the deal. His professionalism is also reason he is acting proper next to Uja, since, well. It was a morat grenade that took his arm.
Let's assume, without much further ado, that ALL Active Player Characters are surely arrived at the Sub-Officers Hab Compound (where Alistair and Uja have yet their Bungalow Units) and conveniently enough there is an entrambe to the Subterranean Complex, along with the Exoframe Hangars. . . All other action still unresolved could happen Off-screen / Flashback. . .
That is a bummer to be sure. I hope both Tony and Alistair can see past Uja's exterior and somehow work out a good relationship of sorts.
Eeek! So much has happened! Sorry for my absence. My kid was sick and then so was I, but everythings ok, nothing serious. Trying to catch up.
Tl;dr Uja pushed for information, Tony acted like an arse, Alistair told us to stop acting like children. You need to talk to your Observance handlers (who we've been ignoring / can't see because it's in AR).
