While that sounds like a fantastic profile it sounds more like a fanfic than something they'd actually put in mo
German here - Yes, that's what it said, apparently read directly from the Army testversion, for the purpose of debuggung Army 7, not playtesting. So subject to change, but real Army beta. Top two contenders of what that Profile is: - New Teuton (new Role but retains Berserk as characteristic feature) - Inquisitor Mendoza (Continuous DAM as the indicator for all of his shit being on fire, I'm not a fan if that's the case)
Honestly with all this tacked on I would have thought it more fitting for the new S5 sepulcher. If this is the new form of magister teutons, I guess MOs heavy infantry is being re envisioned to be even more elite, as I can't foresee that package of skills being cheap by any means. But still if it is real I'd be happy to run it
It definitely sounds like a Tag point cost tier profile, I don't see it for less than 70 points. -6 Mim, 2 wounds, excellent melee and FD 8 means you can gun just about anything down on your first turn.
I dunno, if they also have a Zapper, Infiltration, eclipse grenades, EXP CCW, MA4, Mimetism, and/or Marker State I could live with a combi rifle :P
Gotta admit, still not enough to make me go for a Combi Rifle. Especially with the new BSGs being very nice on durable HI and Multirifles getting cheaper.
And you will win the ftf roll against 90% of things you would shoot a combi rifle at any way. More options to chose between a multi or combi rifle like the Hospitaller doc would be appreciated though.
I mean the shikami does have that assault pistol variant, sure it doesn't get suppression fire. But it has come in clutch a lot of times
Eclipse would be a godsend This whole loadout looks super expensive pointwise tho: no room in the sectorial for more 50+ pts HI when you already have 36pts FD hospitallers or impetuous +3 dodge magisters. The issue here is lack of different listbuilding/gameplay. Half the list it's the core (2/3s if Hospitalliers core), support are 2-3 spots, sprinkle 1-2 trinitaries/pacemakers for the midtable wars and.... that's mostly it. Changing 1/10 of the list doesn't sound fun or exciting to me, really. Every order should feel and play different, not just be "mostly the same with +1ARM and trinkets" or "expensive underwhelming bike (smoke not included)"

Honestly everything looks fantastic. My only issue is the montesa helmet. It looks like he is wearing a motorcross helmet on top of his helm
I thought it was weird at first too, but it actually does kinda make sense. The HI helmet isn't necessarily designed for high speed blunt impact from a crash but for bullet deflection and spreading the impact over a larger area.
They probably remove it when they dismount. It would probably be quite bulky for combat if you had to make it as large as is shown.
At that point the new gorget they built for it honestly looks bigger and heavier than helmet . Also im not sure if I am glad or disappointed they didn't model the montesa with a lance
Box art doesn't always 100% match the sculpts, I'll hold judgement until I see the render or miniature. The lack of bunny ears is disappointing though
