Not all Muslims chose the Haqqislamite path. There are still Shias, Sunnis, Sufis etc who stuck with their own views, though they are in a minority. Also those who didn't have that much interest in sacking it all off to live on a giant desert ball, and instead thought they'd enjoy the fruits of the hyperpower. Muslim majority areas were heavily but nowhere near entirely depopulated, especially outside of North Africa and the Middle East.

 

The whole background of Haqqislam is that they basically up and left their home nations to form a new nation of believers.

So, yeah, their home nations were already part of PanOceania and then a large portion (if not the majority) of their devout Muslim citizens up and left.

 

Yes, but it was members of the nations represented in Haqq that did so (Turkey, Iran, the Arab nations). There isn't mention of SEA Muslims joining Haqq afaik.

 

Which still leaves a number roughly equal to half the population of India as SEA Muslims in PanO. There are a LOT of Muslims in the world, and most of them live in Southeast Asia!

 

As somebody who actually lives in that part of the world, and has a lot of experience with people from those nations (Malaysia and Indonesia in particular) there are a LOT more "Muslims in name only" than devout practitioners. Once most of the actually devout have up and left you'd have pretty secular nations remaining.

 

So, about like the US or most of Europe, then.

Does Impetuous have any adverse effects on cybermask? I'm wondering if you kill come and trigger frenzy is it a one time per game trick.

 

• When a trooper with Frenzy becomes Impetuous, it loses the advantages provided by Special Skills like CH: Camouflage, CH: TO Camouflage (both are reduced to CH: Mimetism), Impersonation, Holoprojector (see Infinity. Human Sphere), etc.

 

Yup, cybermask can be used only until the santiagos first kill. Still, thats a powerful advantage.

 

Technically, until the start of their next Active Turn after a kill.
