Why would I take the climbing, AP, mimetism and mines TAG when I could take the one that can punch people for just three more points.
you got a screenshot of that by chance ? not that i disbelieve it happened, i'd just like to see the context. I want to know if the MO rework already happened , because nothing that was done speaks of a rework. or its supposed to come later with the supposed s5 sepulcher. At this point holding up hope for me is kinda foolish, but it'd still like to play infinity with my knight and not use them as necromunda models or something
no screenshot - didnt really think to do it tbh If you ask me i think we more or less got the knight rework. I can hope for more but i think they think this is enough. Come November Sepulchre will probably go s5 with maaaaybe a slight adjustment to some of the profiles that literally werent touched accompanied by some fluff piece. it is also worrying that "Inspiring leadership" is in the hold-you-over-for-now fireteams rules pdf.
I think CB realise that the old Inspiring Leadership rule will be of limited value in the 15 order environment and may need revision. But maybe not, so why not see how the meta swings.
tbh im not too torn up about it - PanO never really had that many irregulars to convert anyway. Free coordinated was great and would be sad to see that leave though.
Well, Joan with her Inspiring Leadership is the only "reason" to deny a cheaper CoC in MO, if you ask me. I guess they don't want to allow taking a Lt that can get into combat reliably (covered by a cheap CoC) and also add value by command skills. But what do I know ;) Btw, if they removed the CAP on the Teuton lt we could have at least a -rather stupid- defensive link including a cheap lt. It could even make sense to have a 2nd regular teutonic for decoy purposes. Do we know if the CAP tax is really staying intentionally or is it another WIP issue?
theres already so many armies that have aggressive LTs that also have cheap-cheapish CoC. PanO being left out just seems like their being mean at this point. that would be cool - tbh teuton LT would probably be the go-to in MO if it didnt incur a SWC cost. I've been considering it even witth the cost just because everthing else has gotten so cheap SWC-wise.
Whats funny is that you can do exactly that in Vanilla Pano (Joan LT + bolt CoC), where there are more irregular units for Joan to exploit. So yeah.........I don't think thats the reason.
I think it's a bit odd that Shona trained the KoJ apparently but is missing from MO. Not sure she'd be super useful...
Honestly for the same points as a teuton. If i wanted close combat skirmish i might pick her. Specially as she isnt hackable
Father Knights were decimated during an ill-advised attack on an Umbria stronghold and were reforged into the Knights of Justice. I guess "Father Knights but also now Mother Knights because boy did we make some poor decisions" was considered a bit wordy for a unit name. Crusaders are missing due to a bug, back soon!
