Hi everyone, I gathered a lot of un-mounted models in a couple of boxes for ease of transport, and now I’m confused about what is what. Worst, some bags have parts of a model, or just parts, so I now owe a big jigsaw puzzle. As a result, I started wondering about the blue quality control numbers that come with each bag: is there any relationship between that 4-digits number and the content of each bag, and is there somewhere I can check this? Or is it just a number to see who quality-checked the bag, or similar info? Thanks in advance.
These number are used if you have a missing parts. You send them to CB with a picture of your miniatures to get the missing part Both white and blue label are quality control numbers. The one in the bag identify who put the parts in the bag and when. The one in the blister/box identify who put the bags/miniatute in the blister/box and when. You should keep it until your mini is assembled and you are sure no part is missing. If you are putting label from different box/blister together, I would advice to mark on each label which box they come from (so you can idenitify them if necessary). When I assemble the mini of my monthly order (before undercoating), I mark each label whith the mini name and only trash all of them when the mini are painted and fully assembled
Ouch. I recently contacted CB for a missing Zu Yong’s head, they haven’t come back to me yet but I have no idea where I put that number if they ask for it... I guess I need to start a system like yours. Well, thanks for the info. I guess it’s good I have a bunch of free time, this is going to be fun...
You'll probably get an answer from them soon enough provided you mailed them on the missing item address, giving them the numbers helps them track faults in the supply chain but I haven't had them deny me RMA when I've mixed up the numbers before. Just be aware that under normal circumstances it might take up to a week before they contact you back and right now isn't normal circumstances.
Also remember that the government shutdown in Spain means that there's nobody in the Covid Belli offices, and that's on top of Holy Week.
Sorry, I did actually get some feedback from the missing items address, but I think they’re not going through “normal operations”: I was told to put a message indicating my missing head (I love that I get to write that) in my Kaldstrøm preorder so it would be sent along, and for now I got no feedback there. If I’m correct, that is being delayed, and I’m not in a hurry anyways. For all I think CB is pretty bad when it comes to their communication, I have to say they have been top notch for me when it comes to customers orders.
The couple of times I've had missing bits in my boxes, I've notified them of it, and the parts showed up in my mailbox a couple of weeks later. No response email was sent (nor did I expect one. I supplied pictures of the box, the contents, and both coloured tickets - and this was before they codified their missing parts procedure). I don't need an apology for a mix-up. I've worked in logistics, shipping and my share of warehousing pick and pack. This stuff happens. You remedy it and move on.
I don't need an apology, but I do wish they were more consistent about acknowledging that they had received the request and were acting on it. That being said, it's been a few years since I actually got a mispack that needed any sort of remedy.
Bingo. Too many servers like to trash perfectly valid emails, and in some cases, it is leaning into policy (malice) more than error (incompetence). Yet spam keeps on getting thru, as the hosting provider priorities seem to be different (lock-in first, true spam fighting if there is resources left).
I have a question about blue numbers. Should I be worried if they are all the same in one pack (most of them)? Or it's ok?
Oh, thank you for an answer. I thought the same way, but it was the first time I was same numbers. No more food for paranoia. Thanks!)
