Their secret project include "remotes", so i don't think is aristeia 2 : I've summarized all the info on upcoming projects, so they can make revelations at Gencon or Interplanetario about the series, future comics, new games, the evolution of aristeia, infinity, warcrow, their new community application, etc. https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threa...-its-territory-ever-higher.43465/#post-483420
Your question lacks context. Surprising, I thought they only made TAGs, it's an avalanche of releases, their story. Cool that the UR is coming out, I thought it was very nice and I'd missed its release, I'll have to decide whether to stick with the system of keeping a grunt that's more RP with the story or this miniature. On the other hand, I've found the limited version of Ko Dali a real pain to paint and show off, the micro battle scratches are very hard to see, I've had to glanzer it twice and it's been sitting on my desk ever since.
In first post on this subject: Article CB https://corvusbelli.com/en/press-room/blog/annual-summary The summary is then consolidated from other sources, which are indicated.
I'm not sure how I feel about the look of that! It mainly looks weird. Why is the HI pilot in a flying pose?? I guess that's jumping out of the TAG.
It looks to me like the HI pilot of the Iguana is a slightly resculpted Evader (mostly the chest area), and the TAG itself... Well, while I don't think the upper torso is better than the old, but neither I don think it's bad, the pose is a no-no for me, too static and boring. The bundle will sold out because of the Ranger, I bet. That was an exclusive model from nearly 10 years ago... It's a re-sell of existing sculpts, however. Ko-Dali was the Betrayal "exclusive" model (we later got ANOTHER Ko-Dali in a box with Nourkias, the korean engineer hero Chung-hee Jeong, and a second Adhil), and the Unknown Ranger was the GenCon exclusive at 2015-2016 or so. I don't think we will get UR, I think we got confirmed it was going to be a re-release of Onyx, unless it was changed in the last 6-8 weeks.
Iggy looks crispy new but I am not happy with the bulky head section. Also the operator in flying pose. The weapon has good detail though. I did not expect Iggy to survive N5 (and also the niche rules for him and Ana) but here we go, with new profile. I prefere plastic TAGs but I think I will stay with my old one.
It seems the bulky head looking like an armored aircraft canopy is to emphasis the ejection system. It also seems more in theme with the Lizard, Stigmata and Szaly that also lack humanoid head. Except of that, the body is the same design with added things present on other Nomads TAGs like the apparatus to hold the gun (even the fact that the pilot arms are different when they are in the TAG than when they are outside of the TAG is still there). The pilot of the first one was also in "parachutist" pose (landing), it's just parachutist sculpts nowaday tend to look like they forgot about gravity.
Yay, another tasteless Nomad TAG resculpt. That looks dumb. Why pilot arms are so diffirent? Is it not the same guy inside Iguana? Why gun is so much bigger? Isn't that supposed to be the same one? Grab the gun and eject, not carry two different HMGs of various sizes. Ah, whatever...
How can you make a beautiful figure so ugly in the resculpt?? I think my problem is with tha enormous weapon. Is the Iguana a fan favorite tag for the playerbase? Now i doubt the other tag for Interplanetario is the maggie, maybe is the Anaconda
I am hoping that the extra chonk means better armor for the new profile. I love the idea of dropping White Noise through it's repeater, but S7 and light tag armor with MBT pricing can be a hard sell.
The accompanying Jotum actually doesn't look half bad IMO. Looks like CB went to updating the tail end of their TAG line to metal: Jotum and Iguana were the oldest metal TAGs still in production. By seniority, it would be Anaconda and Geckos next, but we shall see.
If those two are the previously mentioned as "favorites", then it may be understood as frequently use in lists and not as mini design favorite. Just a guess obviously.
