Caskuda 64 pts is beyond cheap

But I guess that without firewall and BTS6, it will have issues with hackers, especially in N4 with guided lists

Meta will be shaken by reinforcements rules and these profiles for sure; that's a good thing

While I understand the sentiment, I would wait for the Nomad Reinforcements video before saying something

Those Exrah are priced to swarm. Sure, they don't go unconscious, but wow!

    True.

I'm seriously curious how the Caskuda will work regarding the game balance. A TAG-tough model, designed to deploy in the midst of enemy lines / close to them, equipped for close-range (0-16) fighting... that's going to be nasty to face.

@Brokenwolf I wonder why the CB have given them Exrah rule. The Morats no longer have "Morat" rule - they are Veteran now.
I'd wrote Exrach as "W 0, NWI" - same effect, one wound and off the table, as they are "unconscious" from the start, and running off NWI. Plus, Remote Presence would give them and extra "level of Uncosciousness" then. Now, it seems pointless (maybe a typo?).

I compared new Exrah to their N2 namesakes, and stat- and skillwise there's almost no difference. Biggest change here is new Cascuda getting -1 BS and -1 PH. There's a lot of weapon changes, mostly giving them weapons better suited to medium range firefights, like MMRR instead of MSR, Spitfire/RF instead of HMG, etc. Point-wise, new ones are a lot cheaper, but that probably reflects point rebalancing in N4

A tag that once it hits the ground as unconcious, it dies. That's the Exrah negative rule effect. Your remote presence is only able to re-roll your engineering while he is still active. So effectively you're having profiles that are cheap, because they have effectively one to two levels of unconcios less.

So you realize the Caskuda doesn't have the Exrah rule? Also, with Shock everywhere having no Unc state is not as much of a drawback as you think it is, much less for troops operating beyond your DZ

The Caskuda does not have the Exrah skill.

Interesting, although chances are that the Caskuda does have indeed the Exrah rule after all and this is another faulty slide?

It also didn't have the Exrah rule in it's previous incarnation, being more of an Exrah war machine than an actual Exrah IIRC.

Yes, it was a Remote Presence TAG in N1/N2.

I suppose the flip side to the Caskuda is that it's probably going to end up out on a limb and within easy range of some of the many CC monsters that exist. Tbf you've probably got fair odds of tieing it up for a bit with a Fusilier in CC.

I was wondering how or if they were going to do the Exrah rule. I like what they have done. While a bit of a drawback, it also has many advantages by not allowing unconscious bodies to be coup de grace, spot light, etc. If you never took a doctor or paramedic, your troops were dead anyway.

    Seem pretty great to me

Chain of Command does not work in Reinforcements of course but do CB intend to change the rule?

Not a fan of the very pano casino girls and the B2 CC. I could see it in a more flavourful unit with lower CC, but this feels a bit too oppressive. Oh well, guess someone needs to deal with Aleph's murderbots.

    Honestly I love the theme

Out of the main factions I think all got a lot, thematically. O-12 felt a little mixed, Aleph is just robots, and Yu Jing are maybe less interesting than they could be, but EA, CC, VPF and MRF are all cool.

Without Martial Arts it statistically loses to Monks, it's fine.

    Active (0.63 wounds / order):
    Causes 1+ wounds: 32.4%,
    Causes 2+ wounds: 20.9%,
    Causes 3+ wounds: 7.4%

    Reactive (1.10 wounds / order):
    Causes 1+ wounds: 55.2%,
    Causes 2+ wounds: 41.1%

This thing is good at bullying units that lack CC capabilities, anything with a 21+ CC stat and MA2 or better is higher up the foodchain than the spiders.

I agree but the thing is the ability it has to move to those vulnerable troops. It ignores the Monk to go kill your Guilang or some other vulnerable troop.

Thanks to reinforcements, Grumman's prophecy is now fulfilled for Corregidor.

I can align Wildcats, Hellcats, Tomcats, Intruders and Prowlers together.
