Tohaa's real problem is that they are too cool and powerful. CB had to nuke their production because otherwise everyone would play them.
CB freely admitted they had no idea what to do with Tohaa. It can't be the only faction they are stumped by.
So new info on upcoming stuff is out. Seems like Merovingia will be revived under the "Reinforcements" umbrella, Exrah probably too. Who else could fit the bill for other factions? Invincible Army for YJ? KQ for Haqq? Acon for PanO? From what I understood, reinforcements can be fielded by all respective sectorials (vanilla?) and apparently are contained in their own dedicated combat group. Not sure how they are going to add to the list budget-wise, but this is an interesting development to say the least and it might shake up the game quite a bit.
Quite high, even accounting for Bostria not always being super clear about things. I could've misunderstood some of it as well, of course.
There was a note/leak a while ago giving what seemed to be three names of possible "reinforcement groups". One was Exrah, one was FRRM, and the third was NCA.
Coming back of the NCA is my wet dream. Reinforcement pack: - Bolt MSR - Bolt ML - Bolt CR - Tik (Edit... Uhlan not Tik) - Auxilia (- Hexa Spitfire / hacker) That would probably make me faint, even more if they keep the old Bolts minis
The way Bostra talked about Reinforcements made it kind of sound like a side board: A limited group you could pick from based on the mission/opponent. If it is like that, that would really shake things up.
I understood Reinforcements as some kind of „multi colour“ or „multi class“ mechanic: You can pick units from a designated sectorial for your army. I am not sure if this is „just“ a list-building expansion or if it comes with extra deployment rules.
Nomads get not all the new stuff: Okay this looks different and I think I like them. The Auxbot could be better though - it looks a bit like a whatever parrotthing. You want the "must have profile" with SMG and minelayer (deprep)? Sry - you have to wait ... because we made a BSG and Hacker mini that easily could be made as a BSG shown with hacker hand that would cover three from four loadouts ... seriously? Or is this, to make sure people have to buy a single blister
Exactly my thoughts. And on top of that, they had this amazingly cool artwork of the SMG loadout kneeling down to drop a repeater. But did they sculpt that awesome pose and put it in the box? No, we get two BSG loadouts instead...
New nuns are good. They have athletic, believable bodies and good poses without tactical bullshit to step on.
