huh ?? it is just a mini out of a box of Cold Nose or how this box set is called i just painted it .. ok rest : Group shot including scout , Tankhunter and Kazaks - i think is the easest to paint starting set .. beside Bot he is annoing Dynamic duo .. looks way better butthe proportions on this models are quite random .. ye i fixed his eyes :) and a repost of OSL Ragic from Red Veil pack - i must admit i like this mini
@maru It is very well done. It truly looks like a lightsource is shining on the Ragik. They are all nice looking models but I'm impartial to the Sterlok+K-9 since I really like Antipodes/Dogfaces.
Wargamer - Hot and Dangerous minatures line they make 28 mm and 54 mm (in true 32 mm and 60 mm ) you can find them in there own shop and in Wayland games and i think in other retailers you can find there a samurai girl with mini Godzilla , Russian Girl with Vodka and small bear , And Ruby a trapper girl with exposed Beever

it is from Wild West Exodus https://store.wildwestexodus.com/ You can get this from different retailers or in after market (a lot of ppl drop out when they change edicion and change like 90% of rules and game mechanicks ) this particular faction are Outlaws and yuo got there Watchers - grey aliens (ye i know it is western game ;) ) the Lawmen - a Steam punk law enforcers Warior nation - a Spirit Fulled Native Americans The outlaws - a mix of characters The HEX - evil spiryt based faction + "evill tech" The union - an Union facion - so if you like your desperados in union uniforms - thats your pick :) The Enlighted - sience at all cost including usage of "Evil tech" The order - hi tech atlantien descendants defenders of earth realm - a lot of minis is plastic (non characters ) and characters are resin - all easy to convers especialy plastic ones.
@maru I've been thinking of getting some models from WWX. The outlaws faction is now the mercs of WWX and they got Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson as one of their characters. Being a Civil War buff since I was young, Jackson was my favorite general in the war so buying a miniature of him is tempting. Perhaps I'll dive in and build a gang for him and Custer as well.
look at mercynary range there are some cool minis like Bonesaw and other if yuo arte in to / not botherd by steam punk twist ok BTT lets continue with Tooha caind of Armand Le Omler (du Fromage ) he is .. he do not iven know who he is :) so i made him in a neon look a cit cyber punkish And a CuberJeger is this a less expensive Ad specialist in game ??
Brewer ?? or something not mind blowing but easy to paint especialy in camo Dunno if it better to use the Brawlers minis or any other generic Li let say Ghulams or Fusyliers in ikari company or other ones
ok some skimpy dressed ladys :) this time i like her face expression and this one is from Anno Domini 1666 and below is Emyly :) so this mean i got all Outrage minis painted that was in a boxcand this leves me with hope yuo like the girls :)
@maru I see you picked up some Prodos Games products going by your first picture. How are they compared to other miniature brands in your opinion? I agree with you on the faces here. You did a great job on them. I hope to at least be near as talented as you when it comes to painting faces. It looks difficult but a satisfying result.
thats a fun topic painting faces depend a lot on quality of a sculpt i know painters who tend to resculpt faces on minis to be able paint them on high level , and using non modelers paint as an addon helps alot :) but in terms of Prodos minis - they recently change the way they cast minis (about year ago ) and if you get older ones they are blured multi parts casts and may may not tend to be prone to breaking or to be to gummy , on other hand if you get new ones they are sharp made of some caind of very light resin looking light material but i do not think it is resin - adicionaly they got a Single cast tech and they can do some crazy one cast minis - whole range of Space Crusade is in new tech, AvP range got completly resculpted from old tech to new one - new is good and mostly sharp . Old minis and especialy some range from Warzone they no longer support could be blurry and gummy other are completly fine (but usualy female ones are bad cast)
@maru Thank you for the summary. I'm looking at Prodos' Anubis Warriors which are female werewolves in power armor. The heads would be great for a female Dogface. It is good to hear that the newer sculpts are of satisfactory quality. Perhaps I'll pick them up if the price and time is right.
i think that a 5 man box include separate arms and heads but the single model may be a solo cast same as NYX minature - i will probably post a photo of Nyx as i'm about to finish painting her o i found her :
