Alrighty. Briefly went over this in another thread, but how do you make the most of Bravery in ITS Season X?

The example lists I've tossed up are LI, and I think this attempt will perform best in this format, but please don't limit yourselves!

    LI Brave Druze

    DRUZE (X Visor) Shock Marksman Rifle, Chain-colt / Viral Pistol, Knife. (0 | 27)
DRUZE Hacker (Killer Hacking Device) Combi Rifle + Pitcher, D-Charges / Viral Pistol, Knife. (0 | 25)
DRUZE (X Visor) Combi Rifle + Light Grenade Launcher (E/M and Nimbus) / Viral Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 27)
DRUZE Hacker (Assault Hacking Device) Combi Rifle + Pitcher, D-Charges / Viral Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 28)
    SCARFACE & CORDELIA TURNER . (1.5 | 74)

This first one lacks MSV or Saito, which could be a major problem, but Scarface is cool. The next one is a bit more thrown together, but I like the idea of a defensive core backing up a durable toolkit Haris. I'm just not sure how exactly I'd want to form the teams. It would probably be influenced by table/opponent, but thoughts are welcome! This second list also has Valerya, but I guess she could just deploy all the way up as far as possible.

@Foxep These look cool! What’s your game plan for running each of these lists? Have you ran them before? If you have, how did they perform?

I really like these two lists, especially the Druze focus. I really find it difficult, though, to run DBS without at least one Hunzakut. Yet, it is hard ti justify them in an LI list.

This. So much this. (At least with my own lists). I hate not running one, and I think two is probably needed in most lists. I might try to do a bit of a rework here, because that has been really causing an itch.

I have never taken more than 3 Druze recently, so I am trying a new list with a whole core of Druze with back-up Brawlers and such when they get whittled down.

I think the one thing I might change is Arslan as the LT, because I feel like the obvious Brawler LT is obvious.

I was also thinking of maybe using the Brawler AHD instead of the Doc?

Yeah, i ran them, i remember:
Game against Hassasins with the first list, Frostbite, in which Scarface took the punch going forward and staying in suppresion fire at the end of each turn, after Cordelia activated a console so my deployment zone was safe. The Core Link in ARO duty and as a back up attack, and the Duo as second line punch. I managed to infiltrate Saito so i put him near its dead zone console. After two turns, his Asawira haris (3 Asawiras) had been put to a stop in the right flank due to my core and duo. Saito then in my last turn appeared, went to the right flank after destroying his dead zone console and killed in CC his whole asawira haris, one by one. In his last turn he was in retreat but managed to hit Scarface with a heavy rocket launcher muyib and killed him. That made me lose a lot of points as Scarface was my datrataker, but i won the match anyway as the rest survived due to my active console and all of his died.

Game against JSA with the second list, i think it was Acquisition. Le Muet did almost all the hard work. I always like to take him forward, with the dual breaker pistols and the msv1. I took him on the left flank, and outflanked a good amount of his minis, managing to take down 2 ryuken, Lu Duan, Yojimbo and 2 Keisotsu from the Core link. Yeah, as you can imagine i took Le Muet to his deployment zone. The only problem with Le muet is that he does not have anything to get into suppresion fire, so eventually he fell. The rest of the game was moving the haris and saito to get the consoles and then getting to the middle to protect it.

For me Druze in LI has to do with going forward taking the max out of your good characters and then doing the rest with all the polivalent options you have (core, haris and duo that can be reassaigned as convenient). Some find Druze expensive, i find them great, good close weapon (viral pistol), template option (chain colt), good 3 ARM and BTS for a 1 wound unit, X Visor and fatality 1 to make any combi rifle look like a cheap somewhat Spitfire, pitchers, good hacker options, good ARO option, everything is well rounded up. It only needs a bit more of technique as being 1 wound troops makes you care a lot more about positioning and aro choosing as losing them is not hard at all. Thats why i also like my lists with Scarface, Le Muet or Arslan, guys that can take up a wound, so they can go further to enemy lines and keep the enemy busy enough so he isnt able to hurt the rest of your druze.

What about lieutenant Arslan and the lieutenant brawler turns into a medic? Loss of lieutenant shouldnt bother you much. When i take Arslan i want him to command :p

I do love the extra order on Arslan, but I think the doc. Brawler is a bit of a trap. (This might be because I'm spoiled by Haqq).

I'm afraid that without impetuous, Lt Level 2, Tactical Awareness, or even NCO that DBS is going to have difficulty running 10 order lists outside of the LI format, and maybe even in that event format.

In single group lists DBS needs to achieve as much order efficiency as possible with bravery forward deployment, infiltration, and mech deployment. Fireteams make up a lot of that lost efficiency that other factions get in order skills, but DBS loses out in other areas too as they have to select higher point units to slot in while dropping the cheap utility units.

I'm kind of speculating here, and my opinions may be biased based on my play style, but the best way to take advantage of Bravery related FD1 may be just to play your normal DBS list with 3-5 Druze Shock Troopers in it and deploy them forward in a mixed core fire team.

I feel like DBS loses most of what it does well when you pull out the combo of Hunz, Saito, and the Peacemaker. DBS doesn't seem well designed to run as a single combat group when compared to other factions, and it almost always means you give up the repeater net which opens up a vulnerability to TAG and HI active turn rambos.

I'm running a tournament without peacemaker. Big mistake.
I have mixed feeling about saito. 40 point: no dogged, no nwi, no hyperdinamic.... Probably it is my lack of skill. At the moment i prefer bashi.

Saito is like an Oniwaban, Speculo, or Fiday in that he's a glass cannon for attacking and will probably kill what he's targeting, but it's really easy to get him killed before he does anything significant.

He's more like a specialist ninja in scenarios where he can score. I consider him an auto include in Rescue, Cap and Protect, and Looting and Sabotage because he can win those missions solo with enough orders. He's really good in Unmasking, Decapitation, and anything where camo markers can dominate ZOs, or just ZOs in general because of his relatively high points for DBS. He's also relevant in all scenarios because that smoke can help a solve quite a few problems.

He is not a good Rambo unit because he isn't durable and eventually he will flub a roll. Also mines and DTW are his bane and their presence will make him ineffective and limit the damage he can do.

Imp2 is better (no intuitive attack) vs chain rifle and similar attack or am i missing something?

IMP2 is slightly better, but the problem is in the Chain Rifle's reactive turn. Saito can't reliably take a DAM 13 auto hit, and if you go to merc something with a DTW around, it will be the ARO your opponent takes on Saito. He can avoid it with smoke thrown on a previous activation, but sometimes it's just not possible to get smoke down where you need to be.

MSV, espcailly level 2 and 3, can also cause Saito to have a bad day.

I think you're right. The lists I posted are for LI format events only, and I would have to play insanely well to even compete. I guess these are more fluffy than anything?
I'm pretty sure this is true. I've been taking advantage of bravery to great effect with lists like the Double Sniper one I've posted a few times.
I use Saito to cap objectives and scare the shit out of soft specialists attempting to do the same. That said, he can be a threat to quite a bit with his explosive ccw. I can't remember the last time I shot anyone with him, but he's disabled fireteams a good number of times. The trick to this is forcing the cqc, in areas like an objective room. He's definitely a glass canon though, so he's best backed up by a peacemaker or a couple of hunzakuts.

If I'm running 2x Hunzakut (H1, H2), Peacemaker (P), and Saito (S), my deployment typically is some variation of this:
    LEFT | L/C | CENTER | R/C | RIGHT
    H1 | P | S | A* | H2
REMS | Haris/Duo | Core, (Maybe one REM)
*A = Armand or a solo/pushed forward Arslan. Funnily enough, I find that a good DBS list doesn't overly suffer from LoL.

Basically, Saito all the way up, with the peacemaker behind/to the right or left of him, and the hunzakut on either side. This will shift based on where an objective may be, or how my opponent has stacked his DZ, but the structure typically remains the same. Indecently, whichever side Saito and the Peacemaker are on, I draw my core team to their left or right (the strong side). The weak side (Peacemaker's side), is supported by fugazi/pathfinders, who also cover most f the backfield. I leave my duo or Haris, (list dependent) near the center, but within about 8" of my core. They usually hang back to protect the Lt Brawler, but typically move up to fill the core when replacements are needed.

Not sure if that makes any sense, or if this is even really the place for it, but hope it helps!
EDIT: Format doesn't hold, but I hope you get the picture.
