(0 | 3) 6 SWC | 298 PointsOpen in Infinity Army I ran this list at a limited insertion tournament today (specifically for hunting party) and I had a lot of success with it. I threw the list together kind of quickly because of the time between the update and now, but the basic idea of it was the Sogarat is my specialist and lieutenant hunter. He gets an adhesive launcher in this mission, which was very powerful combined with FA2. Beyond that he was able to out shoot and kill two intruders with HMGs (not the worst odds, but could’ve been luck), Pi-Well, and a Hellcat. The big old Suryat link blob didn’t have much of a chance to do anything because I spent most of the game pumping orders into the Sogarat. Morat K1 sniper was only included because of the limited range bands rule in Hunting party and limited SWC. He was killed in one order. I hate that profile anyway, so whatever. The roll the Oznat fulfilled was to sensor midfield Camo deployed on top of buildings, and as a turn 3 option to run far up the board when most ARO pieces were taken care of so she could sensor a prone Camo lieutenant. I was impressed with how she performed. The Yaogat was able to clear some troublesome pieces through smoke because of the Oznat and Anyat. These are my first impressions based on a few games, but overall I’m happier than I thought I’d be with the update.
Feels bad every. single. time lol. If it weren’t for the missile launcher being pretty bad in Hunting Party I wouldn’t have even considered it. Honestly even just an HMG vanguard as an ARO would’ve been much more effective. My opponent didn’t take too much in the way of armor for this mission
Thanks for the rosters and brief explanation. Here's what I've brought to a friendly game of Show Of Force. Despite that, I wanted to field Daturazi+Raktorak /w Red Fury. Was not really keen on taking Raicho, as I haven't thought of a normal list with him yet and wanted to try this roster out in a kinda shooty mission. I went second, my opponent was playing Varuna and had a defensive MSV2 sniper core and a Cutter. I could have deployed better, so as a result lost yaogats, krakot and TR bot. Killed his Cutter in my first turn, daturazi in a link team are cool, raktorak sadly bit the dust in a shootout vs a single hellot. In the end I've lost 0-2, but overall I felt that this was completely on me, and this roster has some potential. I like that list Lesh. I'm a bit wary of vanilla vanguard lieutenants but you've got the Raktorak NCO to make use of it and it looks like the rest of the list comes together really nicely. I'm deathly afraid of the varuna MSV kamau as well, so hearing that you felt like you totally had game into it is encouraging.
Oh, I meant that my mistakes made even more harder to play this match-up than it was already, I could have played better :D Not to mention that I was looking at a 0-5 loss, but got lucky with last 4 orders in my last round. yeah, NCO is there purely to use that vanguards LT order, and even if it's that obvious for opponent and he tries to kill it, this roster is surprisingly resilient, only 4 non-morat models.

@Maksimas I'm building both an MO & Morat forces. I've noticed that Morat (& Combined Army) boxes & blisters are slightly more expensive than other Infinity factions. So check ebay for nice sized lots, best offers or bids appear from time to time. You may be able to grab a Morat or mostly Morat lot for a good price. I'm also waiting to see how the Invincible Army models look like before deciding to pick them up. Outside of those current sectorials (MO, IA & Morats) I don't see any other good "build lists mostly with the Big Boys/Girls" options. So it would be a good idea to plan on picking up all three if you are able to.
I generally order all my stuff from the local games store, where you can roughly expect things to be 10-15% cheaper than the online store. So I just compared the MO boxes cost VS the stuff I'd need to get into Morats. It came out about ~20-ish euros cheaper. Now, as for other "lotsa biggy bois and gorls" factions... yeah, IA, MO and MAF seem to be some of those, but I'd also call vanilla YJ/PanO as such factions as well.
@Maksimas Considering that they hold a heavy HI sectorial each it isn't surprising. Vanilla Combined can do it as well but it is usually limited to just one HI and that is mostly E.I. Aspects. This Makes the Aggression Force much more flexible for those who want a varied army/lists.
I'd honestly say that Vanilla Combined is less good at massed HI than it is at massed TAGs/TAGs+HI. The fact the only HI specialists are Hacker Anathematics and Charontids is mostly to blame.

Why not put the Q drone in Group 2? The Q and the Sogorat are both good AROs, but the Sogorat is probably a better model to spend orders on.
I won an itty bitty tournament here in Finland playing this list. We had a spec op in this tournament and look what kind of a swiss army knife that vanguard link is. Had another game with the Feuerbach Sogorat today against an order-heavy Corregidor. Full Auto helped hold McMurrough at bay on the first turn, and after that just another great active performance, DA+AP ammo downrange is just a joy to work with since he reliably chunks everything he hits even if it's just one dice that gets through. Finally died to a crit from an unlinked Alguacile missile launcher, and I retain my perfect 100% failure rate on Automedikits, but he secured the middle ground long enough for me to disconnect the enemy heater in Frostbite and wipe the enemy out to a man.
