After Uprising, I don't think I'm going to pre-order anything from CB ever again. Well, except maybe another manga by Santos/Ruiz. Mix of Aleph (combi rifles) and YJ (combi+LGL and Spitfire) weapons on the old models. New models seem to be a mix of YJ (chain-colt and hacker's combi), Nomad (HMG) and Haqq or Ariadna (Marksman Rifle). I really should buy the new models at some point, just for maximum variety... I should have a spare YJ Spitfire to use in place of that horrible Nomad HMG. I have two of the three general release Joans. They are ... not particularly attractive models, the faces are about as bad as the 'tactical molester Umbra' alternate head. Sadly, the best-looking Joan is Angel's LE version.
Personly i am ok with the pre order minis, so nearly everyone interested has a chance to get it. There are companies doing such stuff the worst way. Look at the stuff GW had done in the past years. Doing a miniature with only 1000 copies worldwide. Getting miniatures only at special locations, days etc. I wouldnt say CB couldnt do better, but it could be more bad, than you imagine. Personly i would prefer the approach suggested earlier in the thread, the minis packed with the book so you cant sell stuff seperate. Hope CB would listen to this.
