    Greetings Comrades,

I am working on getting two lists ready for an upcoming Tournament in the Dutchlands. It will be a challenge for the Ariadna Faction as a whole if you look at the missions.

Bio Techvore (our BTS isn't very stunning, and our infiltrators will have a though time getting in the right spot)
Rescue (not a problem with a buttload of Multiterrain)
Deadly Dance (Only the French have a TAG of sorts)

With Vanilla and the sectorials at my disposal, I decided on UsAriadna. That they were the best to handle this challenge. So I made these two lists.

    One for Bio Techvore.

A grunt link to order efficiently evacuate the area and have Rosie and a HMG grunt to lead a charge to the middle. The Marauder Haris will also move as a whole. Got some bikes that can do a speedy move out of the bio zone and start harassing the opponent, since they will also end up close. Meanwhile have a Black Jack T2 Sniper a Grunt sniper and a Marauder Heavy Rocket Launcher to ARO the opponent and making their exodus harder. Seeing that ITS 10 brings 3 classifieds to Bio Techvore I decided I needed a very diverse group of specialists to be able to score as many of those points as possible, to raise my chances in the Tournament. Hopefully have enough orders to move them out of the danger zone as well.

And one list for Deadly Dance and Rescue.

The Foxtrots will be a staple of the this list, being able to multi terrain their way towards the HVTs in Rescue and taking ground in Deadly Dance, supported by the Hardcase and get the camo-whack-a-mole-game going. Since the tournament allows soldiers of fortune, I brought in Scarface as my TAG to score the points in Deadly Dance and be a Harasser in Rescue. With most of the army being able to start out of the deployment zone, I am hoping to protect Scarface long enough to get him into a save position to score me objective points. Van Zant will be there with his AP rifle to hopefully take out the opponents TAG, and run interception in Rescue. Same goes for the infiltration Grunts. Traktur Mul are cheap orders as well as good scoring units in Deadly Dance. The grunt link will go where it is needed, either fighting or scoring.

So what do you comrades think? How would you take on the challenge of these three missions with two lists?

I have found that in BioTechVore inferior infiltrating Grunts are just golden. Take three! Now you have a decent chance of at least one of them (25% per head, that means roughly 60% chance at least one of three) making the infiltration roll and you can insert him in the turkey hole, that is in the landing area of more than 8' next to the enemy DZ. That makes your opponent's life just miserable because (just like you) he will be rushing out of his own danger zone as order-efficiently as possible. (Make no mistake: this guy is dead man walking the moment he makes the roll, because your enemy will absolutely have to shoot him down... Don't worry regarding him being in the Biotechvore Area!) The Grunts failing the roll will either participate in a coordinated order or will be left behind to risk a roll. More likely than not you will have to leave a few troopers behind, and these guys are cheap enough not to yield too much Army Points.
After the tumultuous first turn, BioTechVore becomes a pretty close-quarter firefight with all troopers crammed up in a pretty small area. Flamethrowers (especially the twin-linked type) do horribly good a job. Marauders and Grunts with flamethrowers will do well. Long-range weapons (e. g. snipers) are not at their best in this situation. (Indeed will be more than handy to hinder the enemy exit from the DZ.)
I had no luck with bikers in this mission. Their base is huge and you have to get out of the danger zone COMPLETELY to avoid BTS rolls. Being impetuous means they can claim no cover and will be a relatively easy target for the enemy being S4... I understand Desperados are pretty much a must have to get smoke and cheap enough not to be worried too much regarding the Army Points yielded.
BS Foxtrots are not bad in this mission. 50% chance of making the roll, and guy's out of the danger zone. In the close-quarter fighting mines and Boarding Shotguns are pretty evil, marker state means a relative safety and Surprise Shot in the +6 range band is pure evil.
I would personally go light on specialists. The mission rewards heavily killing and you can get one classified swapped for secure the HVT. The rest of the objectives are... very diverse to say the least. Would take a few medic for Hail Marys and the Airborne FO because he has his uses well beyond being a specialist. The engineer has nothing to repair and the Wardirver has not many work to do, either (lacking repeaters completely)...
PS Yuan Yuans are AVA 4 in SoF. Just sayin' dude, just sayin'...
