Corvus has plans to remake the Spec-Ops rules in the future, The addition of Rosy and the regular USARF spec-ops are the preview of what is to come for other sectorials.

It seems like TAK is going to have a Line Kazak Spec-Ops Character sooner or later.
Which is your "plausible" profile wishlist for him or her?

Do you want a complete redesign of the old miniature or you prefer to see the old design brougth to the new standards?

A Camo Doctor would be great.
I think the old Miniature looks too much like SAS. Maybe something more of a Scout, Streloc or Spetsnaz.

I would like VERY MUCH a "Generic Ariadnan Paramilitary Uniform" Miniature (Unknown Ranger or newest Kazak Troop are YET good) that could JUST by Head-Swap transformed into something that is IMMEDIATLY recognizable as "Sub-Faction". . .

Such as "Kazak Furry Cap" for Matr Stavka Field Agents, a Stetson Cowboy Hat for U.S.Ariadnan "Real American Heroes" (Hi-Ho G.I.-Jo !!!), a Merovingian "Gendarmerie Beret" for our "French Metro Cops" and a "Wild Mane of Hair + Hairband" for Caledonians. . .

Barring that a couple of "Head Pieces" ideas that could be useful would be "Basque Beret" (JUST need proper colouring: Green Beret for U.S.Ariadnans, Dark Navy Blue Beret for Spetsnatzs, Olive Green for "Caledonian Royal Marines" or even a nice "Black Tam'O-Shanter" kind of Irish / Scottish headcover and finally a Burgundy Red for Merovingians, hinting at BOTH "Red Riding Hood Margot" and some Paratroopers of the French Army, that have "Blood Scarlet Hues" in basques, similar to Italian and Spanish army corps). . .

The same "Colour Coding" could be done with a generic "Headscarve Bandanna" that screams overmuch "Special Trooper Veteran", but as Planet Dawn is a cold, tundra-taiga "Steppen Planet" will be LESS logical than let's say Paradiso Frontier Fighters or Acontecimento "Infinity Catachans". . .

Currently studying A LOT of "Real World Infinity Uniform" for Ariadna-based R.P.G. Concepts. . .

Could easily post some with different "Kazak / U.S.Ariadna / Merovingia / Highlander" colouring to further nail down the idea, if could be useful. . . . .!!!

I'd really enjoy a new spec ops, but I don't think individual sectorals got their own spec ops mini. The ariadna one is clearly a briscard if you look at his shoulder pad and chest... also makes a good irmandahino.

But I think with the newer design for Ariadna, there is a lot of crossover in their uniform that I totally believe you could make a "could reasonably fit into any sectoral" Ariadna spec ops.

The "generic" Intel was designed to be either FRRM or Kazak, with the hooded head representing the Metro tactical hoodies and the gas mask head looking very Russian (and a similar design being used later for the BSG Spetsnaz.)

Most of the Spec-Ops were made with head options to represent two different sectorials (even though many of them would not be released for several years) with the first Dire Foes filling in the 3rd option (as well as being the opposite gender).

Exceptions were CA, who got two the Corax and Treitak, then gender flipped Dire Foes of both (this was before Onyx or Unidrons existed). Aleph, who only had/have Thorakitai as an option (though the Chandra has a Vedic-y head), Tohaa were brand spanking were brand new so just got the Kamael Spec-Op option (but still two heads), and PanO who got two Dire Foes right away because they're the best.

I have to admit I love the helmet gasmask option of the old one. I would like to see it again with the new model.

Also I don't want to see the huge SPEC OPS text in the pouches (front pockets) of the miniature like the usarf ones. It's like trying to infiltrate a double agent with a T-shirt that says "hi I'm a double agent".

Also take in mind, a intel spec ops for TAK means a new option for line kazak link teams. Maybe for other troops too? This time I would like to see a cost under the 24 points. Cheap troops can be interesting when almost al your troops cost 25+ points.

Here you can see the other intel spec ops as quick reference:
