Ah yes, things changed again, because now we have settled on Soldiers of Fortune (on my friends request), so theres a high possibilty of Anaconda in TAK. But it gives me a good vibes, cause it prolly mean less camo. Also it gives me a possibility to use Krakot or Libertos.
I think is tried the Libertos in Haqq. Not a fan, as we have much better options at similar point ranges. The Krakot, however, is amazing. I love the little monkeys and have rolled super jump for them in a massive stretch of my previous games. Sooo good.
Are you sure we have much better options?... To be honest I feel that Libertos are overpowered or at least too cheap. 8pts for a Limited Camouflaged guy with SMG, chain colt, DEP, with Advanced Deployment L2? Too much. And they have Dogged. And HyperDynamics L2. I love our Lim.Camo. Daylamis, but they're much less dependable than Advanced Deployment. And fishman is much more versatile. I don't see any other unit close in it's function and as cheap as Libertos. And Krakots also are slightly OP - you know it, when you play against the guys winning the big tournaments with Tohaa... And they have Krakots. And PanOceania use Krakots. Everybody uses KRakots - IMO they were the best mercenaries available to everybody - now the fishman is close in the effectiveness and playability. PozdRawiam / Greetings P.S. I always put our Haqqislam soldiers first, deploying Kums or similar units instead of Krakots. But I used one first time in last tournament and he really did well. And I'm a little afraid, that Libertos are just too good to not field one ;)
There are 3 possible strategies for transmission matrix: - You plan on winning the hacking game. You get screwed if you are outhacked. - You plan to ignore the hacking game. Bring nothing hackable, get screwed by a guided REM. - You play camo spam. All of them have their advantages and disvantages. Planning for camo spam is kinda needed with TAK now in vogue, so yeah... it should be in your plans regardless. One thing that I have been learning ( one of my main oponents is TAK ) is that a lot of his camos are fake - ambush or mines of some kind. The most order efficient way to discover what is what is to move a target in front of the markers. Yes, sometimes it is expensive to do so, but it is the only real way to do it with any kind of efficiency, since sensor units are so limited to begin with that moving one of them into their camofield is pretty much a no-go in LI. Templates also help, but mostly on disposable units, and you dont tend to have many of those on LI.
I have played myself until now a few times against TAK, but not yet with Hassasin (my haquiss soulmate, hehehe). And yes, usually the TAK players bring a lot of camos. Haquiss can't won this kind of game, but probably TAK don't bring a lot of hackers so you could walk without much issues in the CZ of the antenaes and hasn't to worry about marked+especulative fire. IL... Maybe you can use Saladino, at least the enemy have to deploy everything. You could use the Evo Hacker+Fanous+Rafiq and use sensor or satlock against camo markers. Even one, or maybe two Muttawiaha. Have two template weapon and the jammer, wich one can made "intuititve"attack behind a wall. "A kind of sensor". Here you have 5 or 6 miniatures. You can include djambazan and maybe Tarik?
One more question - if i move my hacker into the console-repeater range, what are the mods for both of us? Are we both treating it as friendly repeater or somoene is treating it as enemy piece of equipement?
I was under the impression that it is always a friendly repeater. I tried to dredge up an older thread on it, but lost patience. You may have better luck.
