I’m talking about the other holster, which is empty... which is the holster I’m talking about...
The zencha looks ace and should be easy to convert. Krit Koram...So now do we get a character with a Fatality level 2
In the other thread it was speculated that it’s a Thai name
Going to have to sculpt an empty holster for the second heavy pistol... Where to put it, tho?
Small of the back, like Ghost in the Shell?
Cross-draw on the belly, like the EOD suit in Hurt Locker?
Shoulder holster under the left arm?
Ankle holster on the right leg?
I love everything about Krit (and if he uses a variation of Tai Sheng's armor he'll be a BT 6 engineer we can drag along), but it's a bit weird he'll come out before Tai Sheng.
Krit is an Indian name, which is awkward given that India is part of Pan-O IIRC.
Maybe his name is a play on words? Krit being Crit?

The Zuyong Engineer we have asked for
Uh is that sarcasm? I can't tell. We can already link them with haidao engineers and its equally as shit
It's a mix of both:
A genuine yes, because I like Engineers and D-Charges ( Perhaps because I have the worst luck drawing Classifieds and they always involve one of these two. ) and because this was one of the first things people were hoping for when IA was to be announced ( Zuyong Gongchengs and Yishengs. ).
But also sarcastic since IA already gave us the Hai Dao Engineer as an HI Engineer and a Doctor may have been a lot more appreciated perhaps.
But hey, maybe if he was some cool stuff to go alongside his Engineer skill... eh, we'll see eventually I suppose. Soon, I'd hope.
If Krit don't come up with E/M immune or anything to prevent him from E/M'd, it will be like old yo dawg joke.
Yo dawg, I heard you need Engineer to repair you up from E/M state..
So I brought you Engineer who need Engineer to repair from being E/M'd.
Bad jokes, and it looks like he's in Zuyong armor - I'm scared it doesn't end in a joke.
Trust me, it won't.
Best I can hope for is that he'll have enough extra stuff that the Engineer part will simply be regarded as ''He's a Specialist Operative, except CB misspelled it as Engineer.''
It's certainly a Thai name, too. Google search says Krit Ratanarak is chairman of Bangkok Broadcasting and Krit Sripoomseth is a Thai actor.
Pimpichaya Kokram is a Thai volleyball player.
I'm happy to get a zuyong Engineer, because it means I don't have to agonize so much over what to use my one haidao for in the link team.
I hope to see more Southeast Asian and Korean stuff in Yu Jing. I remember reading somewhere in the fluff that mine dispensers are used by thai biker gangs and thinking damn, I could use some motorcycles with mine dispensers to fill the aragoto-shaped hole CB left in my heart.
Ninja beat me to it.
Just being an Engineer is not really going to do much to shift the sectorial. If Krit gets a Mine Dispenser, he's going to become (sorry) indispensible, likewise if he gets a grenade launcher of some sort or even CrazyKoalas.
On the other hand, if Krit is just a Zuyong Engineer with heavy pistol(s), then I just don't see the point in this character because specialists just aren't that hard to come by, nor that necessary, as to sacrifice your offensive game in a sectorial that just can't handle losses well.
I'm really hoping for tactical tools here, is what I'm saying, and Engineer without E/M immunity is mostly going to be kind of a points bloat
I mean, I'm already bringing a Haidao Engineer floating loose outside the Core team, so that's not much change for me.
Don't get me wrong, model is awesome. I'm not sold on the utility, though.
One benefit of Krit is that he doesn't take up the slot of a Haidao KHD in the pain train. It would definitely be nice if he had even just regular grenades though.
Pretty much this. My pain train is full of auto-include though so it'll be hard to make some room for him. The only zuyong I could easily replace is the 6th fireteal member, a spot currently occupied by a zuyong boarding shotgun.
I typically do not have room for an extra body after adding the Tinbot, two HMG and the Haidao KHD/MSR. Tai Sheng usually goes there due to NCO adding extra order efficiency.
Zuyong PH is so trash that I'd rather not see regular grenades.
You guys are all talking IA though. He's going to add quite a bit to Vanilla. All of the guys below are AVA1. Now there'll be a true 2 wound heavy Engineer that Vanilla can use.
