Today's update, their Pledge manager platform isn't quite ready, they're using an in house one (presumably because it works out cheaper than paying Backerkit fees) and it still needs a little more bugs stomping.
Exactly! I don't mind if the pledge manager opens up later at all. Better that they take their time and make it work without any issues instead of rushing it to meet some arbitrary deadline.
But wasn't it the case that you had to back at least 1 EUR to get access to late pledge? If sb didn't back at all, they won't get Pledge Manager access, I think. At least that's what CB said last year and that's why I made sure to back 1 EUR ahead of time.
I'm going to be a late pledge and I'm still trying to figure out how much I want to go with..... My kid likes playing imperial assault, but only the skirmish with me, he's still young tho and maybe by the time this is shipped he will be able to handle a narrative game (6 yo with ADHD). And my gaming group may play a game or two. I would get at least the collectors edition... but that Cassanda mini in the reverant pack is just... wow I want it so bad. So I really can't decide to bite the bullet on the plat or just deluxe and get the reverant expansion... is the reverant expansion even going to be available ala carte? With the conversion and shipping to Canada.... IF I go collectors + reverant its about a $100 difference between the platinum. with todays exchange rate.... I mean I've spent more on minis in the past two months than that... but there are limits to my insanity. Especially if I'm sure how much I'd actually get out of the game itself before it just becomes a $500 Canadian expansion for my Nomad and Pano armies.
Would this be the wrong place to ask if the pledge manager for late pledges is open yet? My bank screwed me out of my normal pledge despite me allowing international purchases, and i just dont want to miss being able to pick this up.
Pledge manager Isn't open yet due to Exrah infiltration, make sure you've hit the late pledge button on the Kickstarter page.
Maybe there's a bit of misunderstanding from the start. Does "Late Pledge Manager" mean : - Late-Pledge Manager or - Late Pledge-Manager ?
Eh, they're probably working on connecting their proprietary manager to the kickstarter page. Let's give them time to work and get a nice siesta in - no rush now. I'm still gonna pledge in March to freeze up my money as late as possible.
Yikes. $112.00CAD for 2 wave shipping of Platinum pledge to Alberta. That is a yikes of excitement over how big and heavy it must be, cant wait and will gladly trade in 4 days of steak and beers for hotdogs and water to balance the budget.
