Most HMGs from Jumpers, too. My bet is on the N2HS introduction of Spitfires (and Marksman Rifles - to a point). But all in all, it was a gradual process (for a time in N3, Hellcats had both Spitfire and HMG options, IIRC) caused by the realization these troops tended to be closer to the target than it was advantageous with a HMG or a Sniper Rifle. In N1 and early N2, there was simply no alteranative.
N1-2 also had HMG's +3 range from 8-32" (and +0 for 0-8") which made them less of a liability for infiltration and AD types, and just the best weapon in the game really.
I understand about HMG (not happy about it) but Zulu Cobra with Jammer and Tuareg Hacker. WHY? And what are we have... at the beginning on N4 there was a words about supporting three sectorial. Now we have “partially supported sectorials”. I would not be surprised to see in last chance some boxes of starters, that are still exists. Celestial guards box on the line to execution too... but I want to believe, that it is only future rework for Imperial Service. May be next year?.. (But now question about Invincible army) I really need some kind of predictability from CB. Am I sad idealist?
Ok, For me this situation is new. But at the beginning everything looked like there was nothing to worry about... Better to calm a little, I guess...
To be honest, before it was about models that didn't exist. Now they've added in this last chance bit.
Yeah. Its a shame. The mini is so nice and now that we have the Spitfire already, there is no need to proxy the HMG also (maybe the rare case of double Spit). Gamewise I have to say, that I had good performance with the Spitfire. Its not too weak, you can still get unexpected angels to fire. Same for the Zhanshis. I mean, sometime I think CB are foremost artists (not in the case of the Corregidor fireteambox alpha though) so just put out a limited run of a winter-line-troops box ... nowadys most releases seem to be limited run anyway. So true. My Hellcat had a good time blasting sideways of the whole table ;.) it surely was not made for close attacks.
There are a few remnants of Infiltrating sniper rifles, not sure of any AD sniper rifles and I think all HMG's are converted to Spitfires. The discussion by the online community about how such profiles are unoptimized and need to be removed was a long one and a hot one.
Thank you for clarifying that for me. I guess they would be small remotes compared to the bigger normal sized ones at S5.
You're getting it all wrong, buddy: S5 are the "superheavy HI" like Haqq Azra'il / Al Fasid, or the new Bakunin's Penitent. Large remotes are S4 (Vostok, Tsyklon / Lunokhod, Baggage REMs). Normal REMs are S3 (the TR HMG, Smart ML, Sensor Bot and Flashpulse bot basically most armies have access to)>
