Have the Kuang shi rules been confirmed anywhere in the various threads?

I know that Army doesn't let you take them unless you have a celestial guard

and it seems in ISS if you go over 4 Kuang shi you need an additional celestial guard.

But nowhere in the rules does it actually say that these are needed (Im just following armies vague instructions)
It also seems like there is no way to manually detonate Kuang shi anymore? Do you think this was intentional or an oversight?

In ISS there is also and issue when Kuang Shi are in 2 combat groups, even if you put 4KS+CS in each combat group there is red x and prompt that they have to belong to the same combat group. If that's the case then going ava 8 is never a good choice.

Unfortunately the updated notes that were due to go live on Thursday didn’t go live. :-(

    In summary:
You buy a ‘Kuang Shi Unit’ which contains one Celestial Guard and up to four Kuang Shi. All of those Troopers must be in the same Combat Group.

The Kuang Shi Unit has AVA1 in generic Yu Jing, and AVA2 in Imperial Service.

What about link teams? The Kuang Shi unit CG can or can't form a link for them?

That at least is clear in army

CG MUST be part of a core link with Kuang shi (or they cant even link)

Triumph is asking if the Kuang Shi Celestial Guard can form a Fireteam with e.g. a Spitfire Celestial Guard and vice versa if a Spitfire Celestial Guard can form a Fireteam with Kuang Shi.
(I would say yes, there is no distinction between a Kuang Shi Celestial Guard and a regular Celestial Guard other than how you buy it and what AVA they have as a result)

In terms of Fireteams, a Celestial Guard is a Celestial Guard.

"Up to 1 celestial guard must be part of a fireteam core of Kuang Shi"
Not only it can be any CG, but up to 1 clearly means that you don't need any CG. Technically you could create 5 KS core if you had 2 CG in the same group. It makes no sense, and with granade launcher lacking +3 range you want smoke CG in the core anyway.
