Yeah, Stranniks have value purely by being the cheapest Wildcard available, the Doctor also gets Cube rerolls trying to heal Wallace or a Patcher so could be a good inclusion in a Fireteam with them.

Straniks are great wildcards, I have been using the hell out of the Doctor option. Hes BS 12 and ARM 3 which are both valuable upgrades and The flash pulse and Light Riot stopper DTW can come in pretty handy. Combined with his Sub gun he can offer some pretty good close in support for a fire team or great corner guarding, along with the Medkit/doctor and button pusher utility for getting missions and classifieds done. Since he can wildcard into some teams that dont have a paramedic option and we have some fairly compelling non pure fire team options he can be great. A fire team I have been using to great effect is Varangian, Wallace LT, Stranik Doctor, Unknown Ranger, and Volkalak of choice (Either HMG or Missile) Its not pure but its fairly nasty and decently resilient. Wallace and the Varangian can smoke for cover to advance or set up really mean fire fights vs non MSV targets. UKR and Volk are your gunfighters and if something gets close pretty much everyone on the team can handle business. Generally Wallace and the Varangian are watching the teams back for things sneaking up on them.
