Imagine the following situation: 1) Gata plays Pain Suppressants, ending her activation adjacent to Mushashi 2) Mushasi uses Ken No Sen, getting 4 in the end. Q1: How many Poisoned tokens does Gata receive as a result of this attack? Q2: How many hexes can Mushashi be displaced on account of Kaze Tachinu as a result of this attack, if any? Thanks.
Looking forward to a ruling by -V- My interpretation is that there is a difference between inflicting damage and then the target receiving damage. I would say that Mushashi indeed inflicted 4 during an Attack and so may displace himself up to 4 hexes. However if Gata was under the influence of pain suppressants then she receives 4 poisoned tokens rather than 4.
For Mushashi to move he has to inflict and not . Since Gata doesn't adquire any tokens, Mushashi cannot displace himself. Also, I would say Gata would only recieve 2 markers, since that's the maximum amount of tokens she can receive from a single attack.
@Roadrunner7431 There is no diference, just read the text. Has Mushashi inflicted any ? No, so he can not displace himself @Kelthret https://aristeiathegame.com/wiki/article/57-hit-points Characters cannot receive more tokens than their Hit Points value. Players will ignore the exceeding Damage. Whit Pain Supressants Gata never receive tokens so that part does not aply.
-V- is a co-designer and the final judge in this forum so I have no right to disagree. However imagine yourself a spectator of the Hexadome and imagine you are huge fan of Mushashi. You watch with relish as he slices up Gata but then it is revealed that she has Pain Supressants so that she does not go to the Infirmary. However she is covered in bloody wounds. Why cannot Mushashi displace himself? There is a huge boo from the North American fans and harsh whistles from the European.
I see it as Mushashi is frustrated by Gata's refusal to go down, so won't move on until he's cleared his head. Sent from my CUBOT CHEETAH 2 using Tapatalk
Well, Miyamoto expected to slain her, but she stands. And nobody has to know about those Supressants. Miyamoto can't believe she's still there in front of him. While the crowd applaud, the samurai is paralyze wondering about such an incredible and honourable opponent. And that mind, programmed as the real from XVII century, has to accept the defeat. Maybe he stills composing a haiku about the power of the Cat... Maybe he wanted to pass through the corpse of Gata and now he can't. Choose the story you like most. I like the first one.
Imagine you are a spectator in the Hexadome, and you see Musashi foolishly charge out before his mortal foe, Wild Bill. He's not fast enough! To reach Bill, he won't have time to attack! But what's that in his hand?! Major Lunah's scope?! He snaps it onto his blade, which immediately telescopes out an additional 6 feet, allowing him to scythe down the bewildered cowboy.
Real Miyamoto Musashi (not Mushashi) is told to throw his wakizashi at his rival as a technique while dueling. It was a way to distract his foe. So, you could consider Holographic Sight, when played by Miyamoto, as this technique. He gains time throwing his wakizashi, then hit his target and move again backwards, very fast. Or his katana extends becoming a nodachi. Everything is possible in this show!!
