If it turns out this way, it's as interesting as ... the Locust ... means ... not interesting at all.
Hahahaha, probably. Not having a camo marker really sucks and just having MSV 1 isn't going to make up for it.
The profiles look cleaned up and very legible, nice! I assume the top row contains lieutenant/regular/irregular/fury/hackability. The distance modifiers look a bit wonky to me. I wonder why they are not the same size for 20/40/60 cm...?
Also BS 12... I suspect he will be cheap as chips, like 21 points cheap, so It won't step on the nisses' toes. Also, as opposed to Baghs, he Is MOV 10-10, so a LI. He Is not ground-breaking, but I like It. Also, the Hundun seems to have a mean profile, I expect her to be expensive.
You think so? The Locust has BS12 as well and is 30+ Points. Oh, and on paper I like the Locust as well, but on the table it didn't work yet, it seems to be a niche profile for something like Looting and Sabotaging. Could be the same for the Nokken just that it is used in Svalarheima.
ODD and CC bloat added up on the locust profile. My ponderate guess Is based on the Bagh profile: 19 points for a Boarding Shotgun with d-charges, multiterrain and No.2 makes me thinking of a 21- ish Nokk with the same weapon loadout, losing all frills and gaining forward deployment. Still, the N3-N4 profiles could differ from the C1 ones.
Models are siiick. Love ski mask fusiliers. The flowy knight charcter head on doesn't look so good, but looks nice from the 3/4 and side on shots.
The locust's problems lie with his CC20, over burdened with over priced equipment, and lack of viable specialist profiles. If Nokken has a cheapish minelayer profile and/or decent specialist options with a budget gun, he will be more than usable
So KoJ is actually a Father Knight.... (with MA) ........... I dont know. Kinda Im dissapointed it's not a new unit (with C+ or SJ) but on the other hand there are enough MO units without clear reason to exist so mayby reusing FK is enough ? On the other-other hand... if I have MO+NCA I have almost same units and actually only Nokken and Lazarus are new (and easily to proxy). Saint Lazarus Infirmary will be probably 20+ pts Doctor with fancy Mono CCW which won't be usable..... ALSO: what is supposed to effective difference between Nooken and Locust ? They seem to both be ODD "infiltrators" .
This is what bugs me the most. I like most of the other changes. CC tax on Lazarite is heavy, but we'll have to wait and see his N4 version.
The video was very informative. MA 2: -3,+3 (like the previous MA3) Also, MI as 4-4 and HI 6-2. Do you thing this might be a universal change (except for Old HI?)
As Koni said, these are just the first C1 profiles, guys. Of course nothing exciting for us here... But let's wait and see.
Woah, peace out fellows. First it seems that that troop list for C1 consists of troops that have new sculpts or that have been told to get new sculpts (Cutter, remotes, support box). Second C1 is missing some of the rules from N4. So what you see here might not transfer directly to N4. Also it's very possible that some of the old profiles get shaken up somewhat. So don't take what you see here as granted that everything will be bad and uninteresting in N4. Also I'm quite pleased with 6-2 move for HI and 4-4 move for MI as well as breaking up of nested skills. Have some patience and remember this is C1 stuff. Personally I'm interested to see Svalarheima Winterfor sectorial list.
I'm holding out hope this is just some C1 profiles and N3/4 ones will be fully fleshed out and usable
