It looks like the background interferes with the pistol's silhouette the Hellcat is holding but I won't speak up against a plushie carrying Hellcat with SMG for my StarCo. SMG means point reduction for more deadliness, a win win win situation. Jazz + Cadin will be the new Dire Foes If you don't want and/or don't need Wolfi I'd be happy to act as a dog shelter ;)
Here's a long shot guess: What if the one on the very right isn't the 6th Hellcat, but *gasp* a Tomcat resculpt? I know, they didn't have wings so far, but they are Paratroopers, and they're in a much more dire need of resculpts than the Hellcat. Not saying it will be so, but is it a possibility? EDIT: Probably not, since Tomcat don't seem to be in the Nomad Code One roster... :/
Most of the Nomads have customized paint jobs on their weapons, pretty sure the Hellcat is holding a purple boarding shotgun. I’m not quite sure what the EVAder is carrying. Edit: It’s a Spitfire. Alpha chad profile model confirmed, and a first release for once. *side-eyes Mukhtar release order*
And Cadin looks like a sensible stand-in for Wolfgang, if someone isn't interested in getting the limited mini from the box. I mean, sheesh, there are literally 3 models in the entire box I would have use for (Wolfgang, Sombra and the EVAder). Makes it kinda hard to justify buying the entire bundle and then trying to sell the rest off.
That dude looks like he's trying to shave himself with his knife. How could that hold up against Wolfi's incredible dynamic pose? XD
I will be sligthly annoyed if we got Intruder and/or Hellcat in the box. Tomcats cry for resculpts and are similarly priced as Hellcats. And Alguaciles got a resculpt for no reason ? There is a bunch of other Nomad/Corregidor models that could use a resculpt. Instead we get more reusable 3d assets, instead of a new stuff, yay.
This is a spectacular starter for new players. Every model is quite playable and forms a good base to build off.
Remember this is a new player box replacing the old Nomad Action Pack and Corregidor starter. Not everything is going to be super attractive to veteran players with large collections. 3 x Combi Algs are there because Operation boxes include 3 rifle armed cheerleaders as part of the tutorial games. Same as Kaldstrøm had 3 Fusiliers and 3 Zhanshi.
They might as well have 3 Wildcats like old Corregidor starter as cheerleaders. Also I highly doubt Code One is so popular they would create boxes only for it. So it may be better to cater to the existing player base a bit more.
Lol wildcats aren't cheerleaders. Those would be bigger Benchwarmers than 3 new alg rifles for a vet. Atleast a new guy will use 3 alg rifles.
3 Wildcats vs 3 Rokots might not be the best option for introductory scenarios either, especially when the box is designed for people brand new to Infinity.
BS13 vs BS10 too! 3 Wildcats in Crimson Stone would be a good idea if you wanted every new player to think Ariadna was completely useless
Ugh. After the last couple of Operation sets are sat in a pile half built and unpainted I told myself I wasn't gonna get this one, but Nomads were my first love in Infinity and the red team already look pretty damn good even from that blurry photo...
Here are those Rokots. I really love their look, even if I'm not super stoked on some of their stats. Think I might double them up as dismounted Dynamos in TAK They look like they got the USARF Marauder kit, Dynamo bodyarmor and shirt, Volunteer-ish caps, and the standard Aridnan light infantry pants. A wee bit sad to see the tactical high heels, buuuuut they might not make it onto the final models. Hoping we'll get the SMG ones standard over the Rifle ones. God dam I love those light shotguns. I really hope those become the standard Ariadnan light shotgun going forward. Those double barreled monstrosities they were pushing before were shameful, glad only like one model (volunteer) got saddled/ruined with it.
