Is it just me or does the ML have distinctly different face size to body size ratio than the others? I feel like I can't unsee it either. Her face seems noticably larger in the far away pics.

    Maybe I'm just tired...

I like them, the static poses are nice and balanced, and will fit any tabletop situation, unlike some sort of upside down kung fu lunge that looks really silly when trying to do suppressive fire with an HMG.

That said, HMG guy is least interesting to me in terms of pose, he isn't braced up enough to be shooting. The Hacker looks great (I love bearded minis, they make it so much easier to get a face that looks human) and the Kempei is fantastic.

Is her weapon Pan-O? I know the rifle on the the Hacker is YJ.

Edit: Nvm, I saw the bullets go backward, yeah, that's Pan-O.

I'm pretty sure that was completely on purpose and I don't think anyone is complaining. The idea is that the Uprising itself was funded (at least in part) by PanO.

But when you are supporting rebels you never give them your top brand new stuff. You dump surplus on them

Unless you have something new that needs field testing!

It's only machine guns, rifles, and missile launchers, hardly the crème de la crème of PanO's arsenal - though given the rifle is a new class of rifle as yet unseen in PanO hands and the launcher is a newer design, it may be a case of expedited field testing like @colbrook said above. Superpowers have long used other conflicts against their enemies as testing grounds for weapons in field conditions. Think in terms of weapons supplied to the Afghans versus the Soviets, or the supply of arms to all sides in Ukraine and the Middle East. They're supplying weapons that improve combat capability, but aren't huge game changers. Stingers caused major problems to Soviet air ops, but they were a tactical level problem.

Same here - if PanO supplied TAGs, tanks, REMs, coffee makers, power armour, etc, it would really have been odd. This instead allows Japan to focus on the weapons they can make for themselves, small arms and heavier gear. Maybe HMGs and the like were made by Yu-Jing factories and the JSA haven't got much of a need right now to retool something to build their own variants and keep up a decent supply while older weapons became exhausted.

Does make me ponder the idea of a PanO Overt Operative/field observer using spec-ops or Warcor rules alongside the JSA, to make sure the guns are working properly.

It's also possible that PanO simply provided the schematics and the JSA are using their own Nano forges and 3D assemblers to produce the weapons.

Seems like the hardware is there, but the wetware to utilize them is not. I've always figured that a PanO Fusilier is trained to BS11, with +1 BS from PanO-brand accuracy and fire control tech, a BS13 guy like a Nisse or Kamau is BS12 with +1 for tech, while for PanO Heavy Infantry get a big-boy +2 over whatever their base BS is (so a naked Swiss Guard, thematically, is probably still an elite nail driver at BS13.) Apparently Keisotsu got neither the training nor the software.

Well, they do spend time learning how to stab people, so that takes away from range time.

The Keisotsu developed the Courage Special Skill rather than Ballistic Skill due to the amount of courage it takes to stand stay in an over watch position with a Missile Launcher and a BS of 10.

As a question, did I find an unreleased dossier or is this just really, really good fan art?

If it's legitimate, does that mean we could see a brawler box in July maybe?

Fairly sure I've seen it, but given that Brawlers are a key part of the NA2 non-JSA forces, it's plausible a box is coming. Maybe not July, but we'll see.

    Eww! A super soaker HMG.

I highly approve the Kempei coming directly with them, though!

    SMR Keisotsu
    definitely
have a knee problem ! No tenses in the fabrics...It makes the joint (knee) particularly hideous...
To summarize: Static poses, problem of body/head scales, tactic rock (
    waste)
    ...
    A failed box...

failed box? surely the box would only be a fail if it had a hole in it dropping the models in transit.
