After writing my review I feel like the Bultrak has some really solid design elements, so I'm curious to see what can be done with it. My fear is that the pilot harness can't be easily removed without extensive work.
Indeed. I can definitely see the potential in the model but as you’ve said, I don’t think anything short of extensive work is going to help it. I intend to remove the legs first then cut the pilot away and rebuild the chassis with plasticard and green stuff then reattach the legs where and how I want. Other additions and subtractions may be required too. It will be a huge conversion but if it works the tag should look badass.
With the new pictures, it seems pilot's elbow rests in tag's thigh. Long work ahead if many things merge into each other. And with the siocast, unexplored territory. BTW, any news about being it classic or hard formula? It will be nice to hear how any of them go for deep conversions.
