Nah, leave Total Control out of this. I’d like it for AHD to have more specialisation and built towards harassing HI and TAG’s. Normal scrub devices on the other hand, should have a way worse program or even removed the ability to possess TAGs

Honestly I'd be happy to lose Overlord and Total Control if we justified it by reducing the cost of all HDs (except KHDs) by 2pts.

I'd also like a B2 Oblivion as a Claw-3 program in its place.

Just saying, but the supportware is enough to justify HD cost.

Depends on the army and its WIP access... Since Supportware does not require a roll, it's much more valuable in low WIP models (PanOceanía), specially if they have support efficiency by repeaters (Bulletteers, Pathfinders...) than high WIP models in an army with fewer repearters (possibly Aleph).

The simplest solution to Overlord and Total Control OPness would be making Exorcism a Short Order / ARO program, and if that proves not enough, to give AHD access to it (it's kinda strange they can posess a TAG or freeze the enemy hackers, but cannot remove the enemy hacker's presence from their own TAGs).
Also, HD should have only one of the two (I think they have both), preferentially Total Control, since 90% of the time everybody prefers Overlord because of the PB/2 effect it has against the DT effect of Total Control (which is used only in Active turns, and if Fairy Dust has been used not even then).

You can re-possess your own Possessed TAG :)

No, @xagroth it doesn't depend on WIP value. A normal HD is just as 8-points valuable to JSA's WIP 12 Keisotsu as to ISS WIP 14 Celestial Guard.
Has more to do with whether you have Riot Grrls to Fairy Dust, Rui Shi or Bulletteers to give Marksmanship to and if the Hacker is relatively cheap.
Outside of a link, I'm not sure the Mobile Brigada HD is all that attractive, but that hasn't got anything to do with the usefulness of the cheaper HDs found among basic Line Infantry where those 8 points extra are a bargain. In my opinion and experience, of course.

My point was the mileage you can get from it, not its value in points. For low WIP models, no-roll programs let a 100% usefulness to work by ignoring the points they haven't payed for that extra WIP value that lets them do stuff. Or, in other words, a Hacker Fusilier can do something all turns (Fairy Dust, marksmanship, etc...) with the same reliability than an Asura H+, the fusilier will be more limited, and several programs will be a Hail Mary, but compared with a WIP12-13 AHD its quite the safe bet.
