    Sure.

Though those troopers don't land in the zone of operations. They have a skill that's more akin to Infiltration.

In my meta, 99% of AD troops enter the zone of operation using AD2 (because no roll) so they don't land in the zone of operation either

Yeah, but that's a decision that we players make, the most significant ability of a Tiger is that they land directly on the battlefield while an Ariadnan Paratrooper will walk there arriving just on time. That the rules for the most part are designed so that deploying is so uncertain that many people avoid it is an issue with the rules and not with the stylized depiction of the models.

I get what your saying about the weapons, but is it that far-fetched? Infinity is the future. Are weapons being manufactured on an assembly line, or are they being digitally printed? If each weapon is a digital print, it would be fairly easy to make some design changes. Sure weapon caliber, and other hard limits would limit how much you can change the design, and I am sure there are serious advantages to standardized parts. But if your a hyper-power with in-field digital printing capabilities, might you not have more custom weapons? Maybe not for the grunts, but I bet officers could get some changes made. Like perhaps a smaller weapon that fits your grip better?

Maybe that is why we see so many different shotgun designs? I mean, I know at this point I am just making excuses, but I am not a gun enthusiast, so it never really bothered me.

not only are the weapon digitally printed, but let's remember that when someone use scavenger to take your weapon it automatically re-fit itself for his use. Just like old RPG's equipment (clothing and weapon, etc) found in a chest (or Panoply for Infinity-verse) are always fitting the character which equips it, even if it is later traded to other characters (or looted by the an enemy scavenger).

So instead of huge gear compensating for masculine shortcomings, you can have a gun that adapts its size on the fly to physically reflect the size of its user's dick? What a time we live in.

Well, ariadnas tech allows for belt feeds that go through shoulder and ammo casings that grows in size as it goes through ammo feed, so anything is possible more or less for even more advanced factions.

I know I know. this is the January thread, but does anyone know if the December releases are scheduled for this week? I figure with the holiday it would make sense for them to be a little early.

That was actually why the US military went to a new pistol. The M17 (Sig-Sauer P230, IIRC) has changeable parts around the grip that just pop in and out. Very easy to get a pretty close fit. For comparison, I have a 1911 .45 and a CZ75. The CZ is fatter through the grips than the .45, but they both weigh about the same (same barrel length and they're both all-steel). There are some parts on the 1911 you can change to adjust the fit as well: grip panels you change with a screwdriver, but you need an armorer to change trigger, mainspring housing, and grip safety, it's much more complicated than swapping a couple parts that press-fit like the new pistol. And actually, I need to see if they make thinner grip panels for the CZ, it's a bit of a reach to the trigger, which causes accuracy problems.

And I can honestly see making new grips or whatever down at the unit end, though printing them would be time-consuming.

    The problem is ammo.

Every weapon that uses the same ammunition has about the same sized 'action' (technical term for "worky bits"). So, even though an M4 has a 14" barrel, with much shorter handguards and gas system, the actual action is identical to the M16A2. Interchangeable, even, as you can turn an M16A2-or-newer into an M4 by swapping the barrel (and handguards/gas block) and sticking on a collapsible buttstock. Magazines interchange, too (though that's a matter of NATO Standardization agreement, so that everyone can trade magazines in a firefight, even if some troops are using FN SCAR, some are using L85, and some are using M16s).

What CB is doing is saying that women are armed with a weapon that fires different ammo than the guys. And that is just asking for all sorts of trouble in your supply system! "Does anyone have 5.7 ammo?" "No, just 5.56." "Just 7.62 here!" "8.5 here" (says the sniper), etc.

It was honestly a lot better when CB was making master weapons sprues and sending those to the sculptors. All the mass-produced equipment was the same.

Eh, it's still better than the absurdly huge weapons on old models. My GF bought an old Fiday with a loose Rifle, I thought I could fit it on new CSU instead of the shotgun, but I think the gun may be bigger than her!

That must be what the Techbee is doing in the field.

"Jane needs a clip of 5.7 ammo, and nobody in the field has that size. Get out there and deliver her custom ammo! Double time!"

"But sir, I haven't even put on my pants yet!"

    "I SAID MOVE IT!!!"

Pretty dissapointing month in terms of releases.
    Dart is good
Kaizoku is really good, I would say better then LE
112's bike front looks horrible like some kind of insect, not a bike.
And now we get to Kamau, oh, kamau...
Previous kamau had an iconic pose I would say. I see no problem with using it again but with a better model. The pose is warcor + hacking arm. She has one pistol in her hand and the other on the hip... Why does she also has regular backpack? And a scuba one is in front, it is strange to say the least. Have you ever seen diver wearing it at front? If she is hacking why are the glasses not on her?
