Yup, something we don't see much of in Infinity. And it is not like you ever have brought too much ammo into a fight...
Love the Korsan and the Guilang! Bostria also said that the Korsan light shotgun profile will be getting a change, which is great as it was the least special of the profiles. It will take me some time to get use to the new Sekbans. The bubble headed makes sense for the Burkut as they are zero-g engineers and I love his little work bag. The Hafza looks like she is ready to fill a fool with buckshot and its a nice nod on how the underslung shotgun works on the gun. Unfortunately, the Al-Hawwa reminds me of the old surf boarding Croc Man. Planning on getting Melek pack and look forward to seeing them painted up.
A pity we cannot expect other loadouts in single blisters anytime soon. If ever, knowing CB's track record. I like the Korsan sculpt. I'm not sold on the Butruk one. The rest - I have the old, 1gen / N2-era Sekban, Hafza and al'Hawwa, thank you, no need for these. No-one in my meta is going to blink an eye if I field a spitfire Sekban as a Red Fury Sekban. I'd happily take a SMG al'Hawwa, if there was one. But that's about it.
Nice teaser with at the x-mas time, thats new from CB First things first: Best mini in this relase is the brick solid Guilang. He also can be used out of the blister without any special game mode ;-) Thats said, lets talk about the RF Boxes: Aleph design is new and from only the renders (that funnily has part of the sprue at the feets?) I have to get used to the new tacbots. Mostly its the arm-shileds or whatever it is. But overall I think I like what I see. The Artalis is a bit boring and Satrah looks cute. The Tac-bots are a different thing. Rawon looks wild and reminds me on something from the comics, some dude with not flesh on the face... while the Rikschas look like what they are tactical robots - nice! Haqqislams Al´Awwa looks like on old woman with afro-look ... on the first sight. I think my old ones are okay ;-) New Hafza is cute and Sekbans are bold. Good transition. Again we have a new rifle-design? A curiosity: While the Hafza has an inbuild, underslung LSG, the Sekban carrys a seperate LSG on his back. This is a bit inconsiquent from the weapon design. Also this Sekban is missing the little cylinders on the back/shoulder - why? Some just forgot? The price for next most fancy helmet goes to: Burtuk. The Korsair is another fine Beasthunter proxy ;-) yes she looks nice, but hey why the make this hilarious Chain rifle profile and give the world the boring shotgun (even more expensive, so nobody is willing to pick it). Thats cruel. And a cape?
When it's only been 15 years since it was created. I'm surprised we got it so soon. Lol. Seriously why the hell did it take them so long to come out with one of the most used troops in YJ? The Aleph looks pretty cool. I might pick it up as proxies for my O-12 Chaksa. We will see. I've only played Reinforcements twice and don't plan on playing it again.
Probably because the Sekban has an AP Rifle. Upgraded rifles don’t always get the secondary weapon built in. In older terms, it would be the difference between rifle, shotgun and rifle + shotgun.
Nice updates on those Haqq minis. However, that cape on the Korsan is just plain silly. Capes are always silly. Updated Al Hawwa, Sekban, Hafza; does CB plan to take QK out of mothballs soon? I have been out of the info loop for a while so I have no clue. In other news: Vallejo has been bought up -- 70% of it anyway -- by a venture capital group, ProA. Vallejo and CB have partnered in the past, so it is possibly relevant to Infinity, if for no other reason that many of us use Vallejo paints. I have no idea what it portends. VC buy ups can be good or bad.
No, but also kind of yes. To my knowledge, RTF and HB remain "supported", though I can't recall a solely RTF model since Mukhtar Hacker in 2021. Since then, it was either Hassassins, or models that show up in both RTF and HB. Well, or mercs like the recent Druze repack. Then, half a year ago, Reinforcements showed up, and in case of Melek Reaction Group, the Haqq take on reinforcements, they are composed solely of units available to QK. Even the two new units - Burtuk & Korsan - showed up in QK as an update. So, officially, we do not expect de-mothballing the QK. But a number of new models should show up, because the old ones are OOP, and they're needed for Reinforcements. At the same time, other Reinforcements armies (like Exrach or Koreans) are said to not become fully fledged sectorials in forseeable future. Of course, this is in question, because - judging by the forum noises - Reinforcements didn't get much approval form the community, so the future of these might be less certain than we'd otherwise assume.
What Brokenwolf said. Jannis has AP-Rifle+LSG combined. I guess it is just inconsequent. Or they take a step back in technology (maybe because of the rising energy-prices) and decided to build the guns separatly, like Pan O forget how to build tiny micro-panzerfaust-systems instead of old big as WWII ofenrohre.
When Sekban came out in N2 they had AP Rifles without underslung weapons and a chain colt instead of an LSG. So having them separate is actually more consistent with the older sculpts.
Yesterday, the online shop was down. Today is back online again, but with a new price increase in the products. Oh, and happy days will start again Jan 15
Respectively: Brawler. Original Brawlers pack Haqq-pattern Rifles, and wear enclosed helmets, so she should fit in. Wardriver: is a Hacker and packs a BSG. Hunzakuts and Authorized Bounty Hunters are also possible.
