Do we know anything about the future of the reinforcement pack miniatures? Will they be available to any sectorial of just vanilla? I'm more specifically thinking about the new nomads, would some of these miniatures end up in Corregidor? It doesn't look like it, right? I'd prefer not buying minis that I can only play with reinforcements (especially as I'm nor super fond of them).
Nope. Deabak is reinforcments and I make a wild guess here: This will not change soon. Neither as long as there is reinforcments; and they will rework the rules so it will stay a while - at least until the last box is released ;-)
I did a total of figures that have come out 2020-2023. It might help figure out the next sectoral. 2020-2023 Total new figures Combined Army: 76 Nomads: 76 PanO: 55 O-12: 51 Ariadna: 42 Aleph: 38 Yu Jing: 37 Haqqislam: 23
The panzerfaust example was, I'm pretty sure, an intentional decision to show tech differences while still giving the same weapon profile to factions. The size of basic weapons like rifles and such has varied significantly, though, with different sculpting eras. My "favorite" tiny weapons were from the very tail end of 2nd edition such as the nomad specops or original riot grrls.
This means Pan Oceania - the high tech power, cabable to put ARM 4 and MSV L3 in a S2 changed their tiny little shoulder mounted high tech, selfpropelled Panzerfaust micro rockets into some big, clumpsy ofenrohre, that are bigger than a Panzerfaust in WW2 to show ... what? https://human-sphere.com/Magister_Knight Also Haggislam is more high tech than Nomads (Jaguar PF vs Daylami). I think the real reason is: CB is very inconsistent in weapon designs and changes their minds a lot from sci-fi themed to oh we need to show that PF recognizable on 2 mtrs eyesight (while fail to provide wysiwig otherwise). The first thing I did with my Nomads Spec Op was to get rid of the tiny combi and give him a the spitfire from the weapon sprue (now he carrys a mid gen riot grrl multi and lend his spitfire to the former owner of said multi ;-)
It looks like ATEKopitec for me. Abcolutely new unit. So barbaric, that they can (war) band together and make some smoke!
My answer was as of N2. In the N3 era they went back on this and started giving all factions big tube launchers for panzerfausten in order to present a more consistent visual language across factions. The original N2 magisters had the tiny shoulder launchers for the PF and only a big tube for the full ML.
I've matched that if it's a totally new sectoria it also means we'll have a new book to introduce it. So a new story and who knows, maybe this sectorial wouldn't be the only one, because it would have to fill the book, although the old OOP sectos would also have to be reintroduced. On the other hand, when they released O12, there was a long wait before we had access to their story, so I don't think the book will come out before 2025/2026.
Corvus Belli has planned a Christmas video with previews of upcoming stuff, meanwhile the thumbnail shows a teaser for a new troop for ALEPH.
Took me a long time to realise it's tunic tails were blowing in the wind dramatically and that it wasn't some huge bubble-butt arse lol
