I don't really like the design of the Kyojin Killers, but perhaps that's because I somehow expected Erwin leading the charge...
I was expecting something more ... flamboyant ... too. I guess they make good generic skirmisher proxies? The Kitsune Beasthunter is awesome, and will definitely be the Kyojin killer in any Shindenbutai list I make.
Fox lady (for me) is specifically the Kestrel PanO beasthunter, and when asked my answer is "PanO pays better".
My Kestrel beasthunter is the TAG Raid PanO/Minescorp guy. They fit the Kestrel vibe well, I think. I'm still sad there there are no S7 TAGs in Kestrel that I can use the Mining TAG as a proxy for

Personally this is not what I expected, this looks far better, I love the new look. Really wasn't expecting new dedicated Yu Jing ninja, lest hope the profiles are also interesting.

Definitely the best designs so far in N5 and the best visually designed sectorial we've seen in quite a while. Great job.
Great designs that standout! I love all the models and while Yujing is not my cup of tea, I would love seeing them across the table.
Wumings did not need a redesign, and the old ones looked better in my opinion. Also i miss cyber ponytails from agents :( The new units and the rest is really nice.
Thanks for posting! I Knew there wold be at least 2 new troops! They look awesome! Not a one in there I don't like the look of. But sadly troops I don't tend to take in my lists. Looks like the Crane now has an HMG. I hope this doesn't make him more expensive. Long Wang is a bit bulkier than I thought it would be but it's not bad at all. The Koga Ninja looks very cool. I can't tell but he looks more armored than regular Ninjas. He also might be the Only specialists here. Celestials look great but again troops I almost never take now. Especially combi rifle ones. He looks cool but I guess I'm disappointed it's the Red Fury Pheasant. A troop I never use. Lately it's been the Madtraps or Hacker. The Jinyao drop unit looks weird as hell and I love it. But this makes me think we are loosing the Garuda. Which then makes think we are loosing some other Aleph units and I hope not. The Bayara look fantastic. Other than Guard, no idea what else it can do. I can tell the troop has light armor and I think light shotgun. I hope not a non-camo forward deploy thing. I hate those. The Wu Ming looks awesome and I will be using the SMG because he also comes with an EMitter! The Dragon Lord is cool! Must have!
I can't unsee the Special Marine copy there, however. I very much prefer the current Wu Ming. As for the rest, I only agree with the Drop troop, which I'm sad to see in a regular human army instead of Nomads, Aleph or CA; and the Guardian troop looks great and original. As for the rest, I find them bland and generic thanks to the helmets, the bodies are quite YJ-standard with longcoats and loincloths at most, without the usual "feathers" on the back. The color choice of black for the non-metal parts doesn't help to make the models shine, in my opinion, even if we see the units against a white background.
It seems that we will have some profiles update too. That crane rank carries a HMG, which does not exsist in current list.
Goddamn it. Hasn’t my wallet been hurt enough already? Fine. I’ll add them to the list. I’m unlikely to play with them but at least they’ll be fun to paint. They look great.
I was hoping the Long Wang came with his little buddy too. I'm assuming we will see figures for them maybe? Maybe a set of that with the pilot.
