Another update on the defiance campaign: The NPCs that join the Defiance Aida Swanson and Victor Messer. Their models are really cool and although Victor's face is a complete spoiler, it's properly terrifying. They were also a nice chance to try some colour schemes completely outside of the CA/Shasvastii army. Cheers!
Great work. If you're worried about the model spoiling for your players, just use the tokens - Vic has a normal face on that, for some reason. I've already told my guys that all the NPC allies in the game don't have models, except for Agnes who was a special case stretch goal. They didn't mind token Vaarah, so they shouldn't mind token Aida and Vic popping up until mission 9.
Damn, that would have been really smart! We're already past mission 7 now, but I'll keep that in mind for a second playthrough.
Indeed I use the Victor from ITS Pack but you can use Combined Army Booster Beta Fig too. A shame that neither Nourkia nor Ko Dalie have profiles, we could make an interesting mini campaign based on Betrayal Manga!!
Now for the last normal mini's of the Defiance campaign, the Speculo killers. These guys were fun to paint, I aimed to make them look human, but have some tells that they are still with the Shasvastii. Now only the big guy is left...
We're through the wormhole. We arrived in an unfamiliar place with familiar enemies. So no new shasvastii paintjobs required yet. In the meanwhile, I painted up a few alt sculpts. I also got a new camera and got into photography, which is why these pictures are somewhat artsy fartsy. Nonetheless, I'm quite happy with how the mini's turned out. Claymore Cadin is a badass sculpt!
