So... ITS10 seems to have brought both pretty good and very bad for us now. Starting with the good. Yuan Yuans get to pick nicer spots to fall into, and Druze get FD Lv1, which is very nice indeed. But speaking of the Druze... our Druze profiles got gutted severely, about half of them are gone. ESPECIALLY the Lieutenant profile is gone, so now we only have a Keisotsu or a Brawler Lieutenant left for our Lieutenant options, making our Lts EXCEPTIONALLY obvious. So, what do you guys think?
As mentioned elsewhere, that's got nothing to do with ITS10. Those were options that were specific to the Druze Bayram Security list.
True, but it happened just as ITS10 hit, so I'm lumping it alongside what's new. Still... the loss of that Druze Lt stings.

They took out the Druze Lt. option but didn't bother to update the Wu Ming to NOT show Duo? So whats with that? What do we trust? If AC shows Duo, I'm using Duo! So really we are down to one Lt. because who is going to be taking a Keisotsu Lt. for 1 SWC ? Well I guess my Bashi Bozouk is going to get a lot of work impersonality a Lt.!
When was this pdf published? In the newest version of Army Mobile and Army Web there is a Duo option with WuMing. I would say, that atm Army overrules the older pdf. Problem is, CB is changing so much lately that it is impossible to keep track whats the current correct List is.

You can take Wu Ming Duo profiles because they have unique equipment (Combi+E-Mitter). You just can't form Duo Fireteams with them in Ikari.
What I'm saying is, they took the trouble to "fix" taking out the Druze Lt. but couldn't be bothered to fix that? Man I'm feeling a little screwed by the whole thing. They took away the Druze as a Lt. Now only have two options for it and one costs 1 SWC! No characters, 2 Veteran (one that is AVA1), zero elite, zero chain of command, 1 massive size and cost HQ (who can't be Lt. lol). The only Medium troops are Druze and Le Muet who has Level 1 upgraded to 2 but it’s stupid because he’s a Sniper! I'm almost Forced to take Druze if I want to do some mission. It also looks like I can't even take advantage of the Forward deployment if they are core with the Heavy Tanko! Well I suppose that's only if they are link. Yep, it looks like I'm always going with Intel com card and/or Secure HVT. Kind of screwed with Highly Classified!
I think the character rule is mostly for models like achilies and join of arc that have multiple models for the Same person. It does sucks that othe characters don't get veteran. I just checked my android version of army and see the druse profiles fixed for haqq (7 profiles) but still incorrect for Ikari (11).
You were the one that brought up that the Combi + E-Mitter profile was missing from Army, they fixed it by adding the missing profile after you asked them to.
You need to update the app, Haqq never had the DBS exclusive profiles. The correct (according to profiles PDF 4.0) are showing in Ikari for me now
That explanation would work except they addded additional haris profile with the same lodout as one of the duo profiles. If it was only about armanent that chain rifle duo profile should be deleted according to your explanation.
Space Ranger posted that the Combi+E-Mitter profile was unavailable to Ikari, I posted the same on the Army bugs thread, then Zoe conferred with Gutier and the profiles were added to Army. They didn't add the ability to form Wu Ming Duo links in Ikari, just the profiles. Should the Chain Rifle Duo profile be removed? Probably Yes Should the Combi + E-Mitter profile have an non-Duo version? Also Probably Yes Is Wu Ming Duo a legal Fireteam for Ikari to form? @colbrook Thanks man! yes I had forgotten that. They put it in there but that created more confusion because they added it but didn't take out the Duo.
I think the season looks good overall for Ikari Company. Missions which give extra orders to Data Trackers are fantastic for our S5 HI options, Classifieds are much easier and more diverse, with less requirement for specific specialists. Some Classifieds allow DataTrackers to operate like Specialists, and some missions allow them to connect consoles. Not to mention the AD buff for Yuan Yuan. This is all great news for Ikari Company.
What do you mean they "can't" take out? They can take it out just for the Ikari if it's a rule they can't use!? I believe there's troops in in cross-factions that have rules in one place an not the other. Scarface has different rules depending on what faction he's in. Obviously it's is causing confusion. I'm looking forward to the new season but I think it going to be more of a challenge compared to other factions. I actually think making lists to try to do some of those objectives is going to be more of a challenge. Before I only needed to think about taking a Hacker, Doc, Eng, Med, CoC (ISS), Now I have to think about MI, HI, Veteran class, and now because of the dilution of the cards. The chances of getting something you can do is going to be smaller.
Scarface has two completely separate unit entries, with different names. It's not an equivalent situation. Anyway, I think we may be talking at cross-purposes. CB could add an additional new option that has SMG and Chain Rifle but no Fireteam Skill, but that's just extra clutter in Yu Jing/ISS.
But they took away Druze profiles so where is the problem? They don't have to add new profiles to ISS/Yu Jing just like they didn't add new Bashi Bazouka profile to Haqqislam.
