They are good but formless, the new twist revealing one objective each turn will make a huge change on the mission and up the strategy and complexity of them. Hopefully this will give them form.
Thanks, i found it. I easily read over it on my first reading. I saw it when reading slowly again. I must read slowly.
Thanks. I have another tournament towards the end on November using ITS-17. I am looking forwardto it. Possible missions are Crossing Lines, Evacuation, and Hardlock. I will be using Military Orders for this one. Giving Nomads a rest for a while, and trying to make the knights workable.
It says no classifieds, so no HVT but doesn't say anything about treasure. So I think it would be placed as normal. But you can't score points off of it. Just the Sacha getting booty. Which seems like a waste of an order to me but sounds fun.
New article on the ITS Season 17 from Goonhammer : First Impressions – Infinity ITS Season 17: Seekers https://www.goonhammer.com/first-impressions-infinity-its-season-17-seekers/
The point is: there is no way to legally place the token, but the ITS-Doc says that you have to place it in every mission.
Normally. Exclusion zones don't apply to them. Still at least 4 inches from, I think, either DZ so it limits the places it can be put.
I had my first game of Crossing Lines last night. We did not place any HVT's of Treasure. Only because there is no scoring for classifieds. The way we discussed it, since using Treasure can be used to claim a classified, and the scenario says no classifieds, it defeats the purpose of using Treasure and a Sacha. Still, it was a fun game. I was rolling well for the first two rounds, but the dice turned on me in the third turn. Game ended in a 4-3 loss for me.
The treasure can be used to give a Sacha a booty roll. And that's it. I don't think anyone should bother putting it out.
The Exclusion Zone rule doesn't say "Nothing can deploy in the Exclusion Zone," it says: "Exclusion Zone. The Exclusion Zones are the areas between the Deployment Zones. Any Special Skill with the Airborne Deployment (AD) or Superior Deployment Labels cannot be used to deploy inside these areas." The Treasure Token is not using a Special Skill with the Airborne Deployment (AD) or Superior Deployment Label to deploy and has nothing in its deployment rules that reference Exclusion Zones, which means the Exclusion Zone rule does not apply to the Treasure Token's deployment. This is why HVTs can deploy in Exclusion Zones, too.
You can't place tbe treasure token in crossing lines. There is no way to place it at least 4" outside of any deployment zone"
Robert Shepherd made a video in English about ITS 17. Infinity ITS Season 17 - All New Scenarios (and a List for Each)
IMPORTANT For your information, it has been noted that the rules between Corvusphere and the English PDF of ITS 17 are not identical. There appear to be differences here and there, such as additions or omissions of rules. For example, in the CORPORATE APPROPRIATION mission, the DESTROY THE PROTOTYPES rule differs in its last paragraph. There are probably also differences between the Spanish and English versions, but this has been the case every year for the past 25 years.
For me, I will follow the pdf [Eng] version for now, until Commlog app is updated. Nothing worse than logging into CorvusSphere before playing a game. It is such a clunky website for now.
