As I mentioned in my previous post in the Edit line, HellLois has confirmed in the Spanish Telegram group that yes, you can deploy in the yellow and blue lines you placed (I see purple instead of blue, but...) with the no-roll "border" entry option...

Sure, but I'd rather have it out a day sooner than have them QA it for an additional day (which is often what it takes to get a separate employee to read over a 30-page document in depth).

We're definitely going to spot a lot of other stuff and they'll have to release a new version soon, but that is the nature of e-publishing game rules if you're not Wizards or GW.

universal rule created especially for the Caskuda, probably didn't sell as much as they expected. For the rest, it doesn't seem to me that this new ITS brings anything of exceptional.

Edit: I’m an idiot. And part of the BTV scoring chart is in Spanish.

Just checking: RAW the QAZ creatures can be removed by a Deactivator. I think that’s just fine, but it’s a bit counterintuitive. Is it intended to work that way?

It doesn't seem like ITS15 accommodates Reinforcements any better than 14 did.

Resilience Ops sounds interesting though, I'm looking forward to seeing the decks.

Cyrogenics was a fun mission, they could throw C & P or L & S out. Also Unmasking was very good. I like Evacuation (because its the Name from my mission for the contest some time ago, but its only the basics from my mission, anyway it looks much better than Rescue).

B-Pong could be so much better with the ability of moving the beacons with FOs (like old nine antenna misson) so you can use this underused specialist.

What happend with the alphabetical order of the missions? Last time I checked D come before E ;-)

Resilence looks intresting (20x20) too bad we have to wait until end of september for the cards (but I am at vacation then, so no worry).

Ouch the QAZ creatures look dangerous. B3 with 11 could be challanging.

No special missions for Reinforcments? Not a single one, or a mod for the mod to fit better into the missions? Or a guideline which missions are best used with this mod. I am a bit dissapointed. This is all the promotion they do to sell a 70,- € box with follow up blisters with minis that I can ONLY play in this particular MOD? Nowhere else.

Hmm, I guess that was true for Turrets (they are Deployable Weapon) as well ? I never noticed. Well, I guess you don't really want to B1 against a Turret B3. But for QAZ, you can outrange them.

I'd rather have them press F7 after using a tool notorious for causing errors. Something that anyone competent would be doing to the final draft before sending off for final approval anyways. It's the simplest, easiest thing in the world to pull up spell-checker after every round of editing, as it takes 5 minutes and it learns from what you tell it to ignore, so after the first few times it won't pull up words like "Panoceania" anymore.

Alternatively, they could have the competency to bother to check the two boxes they absolutely should've checked when using it, as again, Find-and-Replace is absolutely notorious for doing things you don't want it to do. Every coworker I've ever known has treated its use like I treat the Registry in Windows: with kid-gloves and a triple-check of what got changed.

Things that would've gotten me a 0 on papers in college (any question solved by Google failed a lab, any spelling mistake found by spellcheck failed a paper, no excuses) being allowed to fly at a corporate level irks me heavily. Whoever made the CAP to SWC change had no idea what they were doing and shouldn't have been allowed to be the last stop on a document intending to be published to the public.

Which is why I'm not blaming whoever wrote the document. Mistakes happen and you won't catch them all. But whoever was the editor/QA on this should be ashamed as it's literally the easiest fix possible: pushing the Spell-check button and/or looking for red squiggly lines. Like this is literally the first bloody thing you should be doing.

Either they simply didn't have anyone look at the document after using Find-and-Replace, which is astronomically stupid, or whoever did look at the document has no idea what they were doing. This is amateur level stuff.

I think it is now crystal-clear that Reinforcements were not designed for a new gaming experience but rather with a "let's make them buy tons of minis" purpose. It's empty, simplistic and uninteresting.
And damn, would it be possible to have a bit more different and interesting scenarios? People online manage to write some that are great, why can't you CB?

It is an interesting change of missions, I wonder which ones will be considered the favorites of this season.

    A follow-up question if you don't mind.

Am I allowed to deploy my AD trooper in the Exclusion zone during my deploy phase or must I do it during my turn like regular AD?

Please mind that the new "Resilence Operations" tournament mod and mission at the very end of the ITS PDF seems to be a PERFECT MOD AND MISSION FOR REINFORCEMENTS.

Yes, I put that in bold and underlined and caps so I can catch the attention of everyone glacing through this thread. I personally look forward to see how this both mods, Reinforcements and Resilence Operations, works together.

I feel a criminaly missed opportunity to use COLOR in here.
Resilence Operations sounds like a template-mission that will be filled with RNG-elements, starting with the objectives, to terrain, to (deployable) equiptment. Basicly a Sandbox scenario with (so it seems) always different set-ups (maybe we will see if there comes up a "meta" how to place certain objects best, but since terrain is always different, this seems unlikely). Very interesting. In theory there can be a tournament with 3 games Resilence ops and its always smth different.

Btw.: did i just overread it or does anyone has information what to do with beepers other than place it and make funny noices whilest doing it (which i will, constantly, do)

Probably there will be an Operation card involving them. Placing them in some places, making them survive to the end of the game...

    MISTAKES WERE MADE

I think the same. And it provides some player agency to both players thanks to the pick 4 discard 1 for Mission Operations, and pick 2 discard 1 for Battlefield Conditions... and finally those Battlefield Conditions seems to provide value to all our different Terrain skills in the game!

Just wanted to point that you can indeed legally participate in ITS Season 15. The Operations deck is only mandatory for an specific, but AWESOME, optional mod.
