Is there a sorcerer that could teach me how to glue/paint/transport/play an Anathematic?

I think the key is to anchor the tails to something else. Mine rest against it's thigh as a second contact point but I've also seen them touching the base lightly. I carry mine in a foam tray and it's never broken.
