Sure, I can do that. I'll post them one of these days.

Promised some more mockups. Didn't have time until now. Here they are, @infyrana. While I was at it, I also fixed Kornak's face...

Man, I have a love-hate relationship with the Rindak model.

I love the idea, I love the art, I love its rules and the addition of that 'jaws of life' thing is so, so cool.

but I hate that pose with the fury of a thousand angry monkeys.

Looks so much better without the yellow... but that last pack introduced is still a whopping miss with it's blocky square pieces all over two of the models.

Thanks for taking out the yellow :)

Rindak might be salvageable (I'll be using it for kitbashing, though), but Taryot is a total miss. The only Morat part it has is the shotgun.

More subdued colour theme fits MAF much better, but I'll still remain a fan of the one we've had before.

I am looking at the Taryot, thinking about getting a real Morat head on it and perhaps an arm? So that it actually looks like a few Morat pieces tacked on a mostly robotic body.

I think I've already read elsewhere in the forum about Taryot missing Morats "meat" on it, but Taryot are remote presence drones piloted from the rear by Morats too wounded (or too old) to go themselves to the front line, so they don't need organic parts on them, unless you want to make them cyborgs in your head canon.

I think there is a confusion with Rindak that have body cybernetic enhancements.

I am not up to date with the fluff... but MY morats would not stay back and pilot a drone. Where is the honor in that?? If they have half a brain and a stub of a spinal cord, they should be out there doing battle.

They are not honor bound warriors like Klingons. They are soldiers and work for the glory of their unit and race. They are supposed to be the ultimate soldier, put their self aside and follow orders for the completion of the mission. If their orders are to pilot a drone, they will.

The Taryot pilots are grateful for the opportunity to still serve.

My solution will probably involve getting additional pack of CA Drones and modding the everloving sh*t out of them to make them S2 bots. I want to make something worthy of the unit, in my last game it wiped out an entire Sekban Core, and I fully intend to give it justice.

I for one like the Taryot. After realizing that I had read the fluff wrong (I thought the almost dying Morat would be dropped onto the battlefield himself, not pilot a Drone), I came to like the mini itself. It's also a cool proxy for other armies/bots.

So I am a terrible person and actually like the olive armor color quite a bit. Anyone have any recommendations for a paint that matches the image edits, I'm always rubbish at picking them out.

How about this? Mind the green skin, I'm planning on painting my morats like orcs.

I haven't had this much luck with the Taryot yet, but the Rindak and Kaitok are both becoming MVPs. Kaitok tanked so much in my last four games. I really hope they make a new model for the HRL version.
