First try to acknowledge what the actual problem is you're trying to resolve.

When posters give some critical thought to reflecting why they are mad, and provide thoughtful feedback on how that might have come about, I will respond in kind.

Posts which minge about how "my faction is fucjed" or "cb are laughing in my face" "poor Yu Jing is hated" or my favourite "CB should do x and y because I think that would make me less angry right now and I am literally their boss because I brought some minis".
Will receive equally low quality responses amounting to shut up, whining is annoying.

 

Yeah, I forgot to mention it. It looks like linking Remotes will be the next best thing, and Weibings, Son-Bae and Chaiyi (hell, even Panggulings) look like a good candidates to mix into HI teams.

I think Zhanshi might actually show up, in a limited numbers. Not unlike Fusiliers in MO.

 

Which is fine, but yeah I did not spend years waiting for this army to be railroaded into using Zhanshis in every list.

 

Funny, seems to me you the one who's trying to turn this place into an anti-cb echo chamber, what with your misrepresentation of everyone who doesn't completely agree with you.

And for the record, silencing you is far feom my intention, but i find your methods to be flawed. Trying to subvert every thread on this forim into a Jaxit debate is not productive to your cause and your confrontational attitude is more likely going to alienate members of this community than gaining their support.
It's a shame this thread started out as a show of support for YJ by a prominent Pano player turned into such quagmire.

God, what if they let us link Rui Shi with Zuyong or Shang Ji. I would trade every single JSA proifle for that in a heartbeat. There would be much PanO angst, as they seem left behind now that mixed links are the new creep/fad.

 

Yeah, I think it'd be awesome if IA could field a multiple fully working lists without cheap filler.

Basic support troops, like Zhanshi doc and engineer, are probably a given, though.

 

I'm kind of hoping they don't go overboard on the mixed link thing. I think they will need a way to make core zuyongs cheap enough though, so there might be that.

I am hoping that shooting star might bring some of ko dali back with some interesting drop rules. Even like coordinated drop or something that doesn't cost you heaps of orders.

I feel ya man. Anything that brings Shangji back to their former glory!

But I must admit, the standard HI statline with some interesting equipment is getting a bit crowded in the Yu Jing line up. So shangji being the tech heavies that mix with remotes might actually be an interesting avenue to differentiate them from zuyong.

I think the invincible army will either bring many more remotes, but more likely will have lots of medium infantry support with unique HI profiles like the shooting star.

 

What makes you think there would be MI? Aside from the fact that they are usually terrible and don't save a lot of points, they don't fit the background.

Well it depends. Sometimes it's just a difference of viewpoint; other times the difference of viewpoint can only be the result of a lack of respect. If someone's known to be allergic to peanuts and you buy them peanut butter, acting like they have no reason to be upset that they can't eat the food you got them is just being self-centered.

 

It would be super cool if shang ji get chain of command and haris with zuyong while having something like mech deployment lvl 2 which grants mech deployment to all link members

 

Maybe we are understanding this situation differently... Let's go at it with that simil.

If you are a JSA player, then of course, you got a great birthday present, both fluff-wise and in the rules (some profiles look undercosted and really optimized to me...), and veterans got a nice cake with the mercenary companies, because it's quite easy to have troops to cover for the core models of at least one of them (I got kinda surprised after the Brawlers not looking somehow similar to Stallone's Mercenaries guys, at least with the clothes... but then, Andromeda).

If you are Yu Jing, then what happened is a guy (a fried of your parents, an aunt, whatever older person you want) came to your 9th (for example) birthday party, grabbed one of your presents, and gave it to your little brother, the one who is always giving you trouble the way little brothers do while you can only endure because he has little compunction when it comes to tell on you to your parents.
Then your parents told you to suck it up, and that they will make it to you on your next birthday, because you are the older brother. And all the while, most of the other children are ridiculing you for protesting this unfair treatment.

Now tell me what would a child think of that person.

Then, if you want to put in my mouth words to the like of "of course, an immature reaction, that is what YJ players are doing", lets advance the clock 15 years.
Your grandmother buys a new car, and says she is going to give it to you for your birthday, whose car (that you bought and maintain by yourself) has been battered for 3-4 years of being forced to lend it to your brother, chaffeur him around from time to time, etc... It's not that bad, you can get a new car even if you have to still lend it to your brother, or even give him your old one (and help him maintain it, and so) since he knows how to drive better and won't make a mess...
Then, when she has the keys on her hand, she gives it to your little brother, tells to you that it sucks to be you but she will give you some cookies later that month, and maybe a new car in some months... or years.
