I am quite sure, that your preference willt be met. I trust in CB, that they would make the Sectorial workable without any MSV at all.

I personally wouldnt be opposed to see Djans in RTF, but its unlikely anyway, because Haqq doesnt share units between Sectorials, so we can expect anti camo measures in a different unit.

I respect this, but it seems increasingly unlikely to me for two reasons.

1.) Corvus Belli are in the business of making and selling minis. New units and profiles lead to new minis to sell to us.

2.) The game seems increasingly uninterested in vanilla factions. Look at the Haqqislam / RTF starter, or Onyx, or the rumored Kazak vs Vedic Operation X starter at Gencon.

Onyx functions very similarly to vanilla CA with links (IMO, anyway), and RTF could be similar. To @Palomides 's point, sharing seems like a newer thing (Onyx, NA2 armies, and, ahem, Ghulams), so I think it isn't that outlandish to see Djanbazans or even hassassins in limited quantity given their explicit role of looking after Saladin, who is definitely in RTF. I'd love Djanbazans and Hassassins as AVA 1-2, and Sensor or something as a tech way of getting at camo. Not sure about trusting CB to work it without MSV though. They tried it with Hassassin Bahram and Shasvastii, which later got MSV and put on the backburner, respectively.

From where do we actually know that Saladin is in RTF? Besides from some forum posts I cant remember, that it was mentioned in a seminar or interview.

Btw. big thanks to CB for not sculpting Hakims with Medikits/Medjectors:-D

When the Red Veil box came out they got a list for people to expand into. Granted, it had Khum on it, but also Saladin. I assume it comes from there and from Sun Tze being in Imperial Service.

We don't know 100%, but given the Haqq remaining Haqq sectorials are Gabqar Khanate and Al Medinat Caliphate, the latter seems like it...unless there is some sort of Hachib sectorial.

    ...or Saladin remaining Vanilla thing.
Good catch, I was wrong about his dossier sporting RTF symbol.

Caledonia still says "Hi" though. Same applies to majority of Vanilla Ariadna lists (although some of them have sensors).
If anything, HB has other ways to work against camo, if not against spammed camo.

I think that everything is supposed to end up in a sectorial. And CHA has Uxia.

    Ba dum tsss.

Still, I'll use a saving throw pointing out that barely anyone uses that profile, and list of any army with no MSV in it is as good as if there was no MSV in the army. There are a lot of armies that don't take MSVs very often.

Just opened up the box for these guys yesterday and they are great sculpts. I love the two piece assembly as well. It's nice not to have so many fiddly bits to deal with.

Well, CB has promised they are aiming for ease of assembly now.
Some people found that to be a worthy reason to complain about "CB giving ground to ultra-competitive folks". Was kinda funny.
I haven't heard opinions of customisation fans yet.

It's harder to make conversions now, the saw has become a must have :(

    You happy man! :D
How can you have them so early? :D

Could you please tell me, how many arms are there for the Nasmats? :)
Are there few sets (Engineer/Doctor) ?

Some sweet photo would be best :)

You can make your own saw easily :)

Normal razor blade turned into a little saw with a triangular file ;)

Really helps with converting stuff - Skully approves ;)

I can have them because their release date has passed...

No problem, I'll take a look for you later today and maybe get some pictures posted up. There certainly were a lot of fiddly bits so I left them in the baggie for now.

No multiples of arms. Not really a great surprise as we know the Nasmat A2 is only available with doctors.

Ghulam torsos from the SWC box included for scale... These aren't small guys...

Well, memory serving me, they're PH11 & Regeneration, so on par with Djanbazan...

Fair point, Errhile. But man, that's quite a difference from the SWC Ghulam who were already bigger than their predecessors. I'm curious to see them next to the new Janissaries or Asawira.

I wonder if this scale creep is part of the effort to make easily assembled models?

Thank you very much, @Xeurian :)

To be honest I'm really surprised with Hakims - I thought they share the same body with different details, or at least the same legs (like male Druzes from the new box).
Now, when I see them as a different scuplts, I wonder why CB didn't make them more unique. They both have similar poses and I'll propably cut the legs of the SMG guy to make him a bit more interesting (like advancing into position).

He doesn't look much bigger than the male Ghulam, just bulkier, which could be down to his outfit.

Incredibly, my wife was all for me getting a small hand-saw that works on minis.

But @KedzioR_vo 's hack (no pun intended) is simply brilliant.
